@@blackyvertigoSo are shields, yet that doesn’t stop people from shield gating… and Dante has both. Not to mention you can just press 2 for instant s and overguard refresh. And the fact that he has OG regeneration just make it so hard to die even at high level steel path.

I never realized dante was already "Nerfed" when I built him after getting back in the game just weeks ago, gave him 308%+ Power Strength, 226% Duration 45% efficiency and 109% range, with roar subsuming noctua, then a gas electric Xata Jahu Grimoire with secondary encumber, with noctua modded for heat, slash, and viral via wordwarden, Lastly, full tau forged shards, 2 yellow for casting speed, 2 purple for equilibrium effect, and 1 red for Strength Melts enemies like butter, gives everyone 50k+ Overshield and protection from a lot if not all status effects, plus the 100% plus bonus from Roar and the damage from wordwarden. All hail the mighty overguard wizard, he has everything you need! Your build is also damn amazing, I gotta try the triple crimson tau shards once I have them.

Agreed! He is quite fun and strong, I don't get the unnecessary hate he received lol If someday I feel like suffering, I will farm the tome mods, I want to try a "support" Dante with Noctua serving as a buff tool :)

most of the changes to extremely strong characters I consider "adjustment" not "nerf", people tend to confuse what is a normal character and a non-normal character, Dante was ridiculously strong when he launched and that's why many idiots were using, and they thought the nerf wasn't necessary, so they started talking bad about the character and creating a "Dante rip" narrative. Because most of them don't want to use their brains to play, they just want to bang their heads on the keyboard. Dante/Mag/Wisp/Jade/Xaku are the best Warframes for me.

Uopon commenting I will assume your in PC. Dante has this skill 1 2 3 4 1 Changes your secondary into his grimoir that deals slash and radiation . It consumes your energy per shot 2 gives shields 3 deals slashes in your general direction Now his 4 is what names him strong. If you press skill 2 twice and press 4 you gain massive overguard and some healing Press 3 twice and 4 after you deal a strong AOE based on the amounts of slash the enemy has Press 2 and 3 then 4. You gain grimoir that follows you and deals status effects. Press 3 and 2 then 4 you gain some birds that kills and distract the enemy. This description may not be truly accurate but it only describes the gist of his skills

Been trying to do this with r1 arcane steadfast and r1 molt augment. How do I get the big numbers I’ve played around in simulacrum but only way I’ve seen is to abuse the whole fatal curse stores slash heat toxic damage. And I status prime em and then cast 4th

Priming is good! But to get even more damage, you need to do a few steps before casting Tragedy (3+3+4) I recommend replacing his first ability with Roar, which is what I used in the vid, then cast Pageflight (3+2+4), the AI of the birds is a bit annoying but they usually follow you, as soon as you see them attacking the enemies, that is your signal to cast Tragedy, and it should do millions of damage. Pageflight is really important because it makes enemies vulnerable to status chance and damage (and tragedy is a status nuke after all) and roar is overall to boost all that damage all together :)

You're build is either doing something that i cant see or exploiting the procs from your alies because I can't seem to get those numbers solo... id be able to figure it out if i saw the build but until then im stumped.

Huh, but I did show the build at the beginning? And in terms of how to achieve those numbers... well I don't remember having allies that boosted my damage like a Wisp or Jade that day, I usually just cast Roar, then Pageflight, wait for the birds to target the enemies since their AI is kinda junky, and then I cast Tragedy, and that's how I achieve the nuke. The most important thing are the birds, since they boost the status damage of your nuke, and Roar is just a nice overall boost to all that damage. Hope that helps! :)

@KayroZoen so Dante takes all existing statuses (including Aly statuses) on enemies within range and turns it into damage. but he gets a lot of multipliers from roar (skill 2 damage × status from skill ×damage from skill 4) which might also be a factor that I didn't see. I'll have to look at the build. I don't know how I missed it unless it was split second.

@KayroZoen okay, so I see why I missed the build. xD You glanced over it in 6 seconds it makes a bit more sense now. that's a lot of strength investment. If I were to critique the build, tho I'd suggest dropping some of the energy investment. Equilibrium is a monster with a companion carrying synth deconstruct. You have 3 mods and an arcane devoted to it on a frame with no skill costs higher than 70. You could probably cut one for duration and feel comfortable (I understand he is a spam frame but duration helps him maintain his buffs so you can focus on the dps attacks.) Also of note some companions synergize well with Dante by applying damaging status effects ^^

Kinda. To get the max rewards yes but you can sacrifice the last reward and have a freebie or you can sacrifice all/most rewards to carry others and you can also be carried if the options are bad/not invested. It's meant to be a test of your arsenal and it is but it also has the option to cheese it for those who need the rewards but aren't as well equipped.

Archon stretch gives energy when an ability procs electricity, Noctua counts as an ability, put an electricity mod there, profit. Sincerely, a Dante main

​@@flowtrap1168Like someone else said, the summoned copies of noctua from Dante's 4 use noctua's mods. If you have electricity on it, they can apply it to enemies, and it will activate archon stretch.

Well besides the build I showed, are you applying the combo I showcased? I Cast Roar, then Pageflight, wait for the birds to hit the enemies, and just then I cast Tragedy. I would say the most important thing is Pageflight, as it makes enemies vulnerable to status chance and status damage, and Tragedy is just that, a status nuke :) Hope it helps!

See I was thinking on doing that, then Wukong came back from his expedition with his necramech, so even tho I killed most enemies, he takes all the dmg done because... well necramech lol So satisfying the dopamine of my viewers with crazy damage numbers and red crits sounds good to me :)
