I absolutely needed to hear this as I just told a friend I’m not “feeling it “ either.

Hope u feel better soon. Ive been struggling for three years. The past year the worst as I became very ill while at a friend’s home, far from the standard of care I am used to in major city. The heating up, like my body is in a microwave, but temp 97.3 , migraine, cognitive issues, almost made me want to end things, relentless. No MD could even give me a differential, at home tests neg. Demanded antibody, positive. Find an infectious disease md on your own. I call, come in 5 months!! Went to many urgent care. Last one, found elevated troponin and d dimer, sent me to er. Er to cardio, nit a word about LC.tests not in, meanwhile i feel so weak , like I’m slipping away. Friends don’t get this, that so many systems can go wrong at once. Talk like its a moral failing, not a teal illness, thats why i need to know why.😢

@@susandrucker7937 Oh my goodness, I feel for you so much. Be kind and gentle to yourself and know that you are not alone. Your struggle is real and even though friends don't understand all of us surviving LC do!! I have felt hopeless at points too. It takes every ounce of energy but you WILL get to the other side. I am over 2 years in, my friend and I am not recovered either but I know I can get there. It is so very slow but we can get there...sending you loving gentle hugs dear friend. Take one baby step at a time and it is okay not to feel okay. Hang in there. ❤❤❤
