Since we're about 21 episodes into this series, what personalities do you all think the group has? Based on my own observations and opinions: Green is extreme artistic and creative, judging from the note Block and Build Contest videos. Blue is a gardener, more diplomatic, and (usually) the pacifist of the group. Yellow seems to be the hacker of the group and has an uniquely high intelligence. Second Coming (Orange) is like the big brother of the group, as they are very protective and worried about their friends' safety and well-being. Red is the animal lover and is also generally peaceful, but also seems to be unlucky, as a lot of bad things has happened to them. Purple, on the other hand, seems to be a little more ego-driven than the group. However, they also seem to just want some fun and company.

it is in fact possible to boat onto a ghast in the actual game, though quite difficult. this was an "achievement" in many survival/adventure maps way back before achievements were officially a thing

I was thinking: you know how the nether portal appeared suddenly in Alan's PC? I think Purple was curious what would happen if he did somthing to the portal, which drove him to accidentally stumble across the computer, and with some sort of backstory issue, he didn't think of exploring the PC, although he was a little silly for leaving the portal there. Perhaps Purple didn't know that there were other stick figures? (Btw this is an unproven theory, but yeah, my mind ticking on about random things).

Alan, I must say, you are what every animator on KZbin should strive to be! Your stick figure animations are just cut from a better cloth than the rest! They simply add something new to the Minecraft formula every time to keep it fresh and exciting! In an age where most KZbin animators have resorted to "story time animating" you, on the other hand, put in the extra time and effort to make a quality animation and you still find success! You also contribute very well to what flash animation once was! While most early flash animators have struggled to stay relevant over the layout changes and the new algorithm, you have gradually risen in popularity ever since Animator VS Animation in 2006, and yet, your legacy continues to stay strong! If it weren't for you, actual animation on the internet would really go extinct, so continue to make quality content!

Caseydia I see your point! Story time animation definitely stands out from the rest! However, there's something about the genre that isn't really pointed out all that much! It's not really animation! Well, most of the time! Animation involves the movement of characters and objects! There's not really much movement in the story time animations! I understand why the story time animators do this, because animation is hard, and they need to lengthen the video in order to satisfy the algorithm! Yes, that's understandable! But every once in a while, you'd see some special kind of movement in the characters, and you can really tell what the animator was going for! Many seem to argue that story time animators "saved the animation genre on KZbin"! Eh, not really, because like I said, it's not really animation! However, even though story time animations are very limited compared to what Alan Becker does, I have seen some wickedly creative stories and styles from the genre, and I respect them for that! Although some of them are just carbon copies of TheOdd1sOut, I am really interested to see where the genre goes! Edit: Okay, it’s been quite a while since I’ve written this, and I would definitely say that most story time animators have improved in their animation. That doesn’t invalidate all the complements I gave Alan, but it’s still nice to see:

Yeah that would have been cool, although I think the main reason for these AVM shorts is that they're easier to produce on a regular basis. Like, I LOVE the really long projects but just thinking about how long that would take to animate makes me shudder. I feel like he's testing the waters here before moving to the next big thing!

Bored Person actually that's not true to get an animation like this you should copy every single pixel and make sure that colours are right plus copying and pasting won't give the same effect for each effect like the real Minecraft tbh, it needs some Shadow and more other stuff

its probably intentional for one reason or another. my guesses are that A- it's just easier to animate and coordinate scenes if the blocks arent as giant as they are in game, and B- it's intentional to show that the sticks aren't from MC, like how in the pokemon one they were about twice as tall as the player character
