The terrible coaching honestly doesn't get talked about in enough depth as it should. The reason the Nets were good in 2021 was because Ime Udoka was handling the defence and Dantoni was handling the offence. It's even reported by Nets insiders that James Harden's trade request was more about Steve Nash's coaching than it was about Kyrie's decision. Front office also isn't off the hook either as they have refused to acknowledge the terrible coaching and have not addressed the big man/centre issues since they traded Jarrett Allen - or found a legit backup point guard.

i posted this comment on kenny'a video but also wanted to post it here. the nets culture is fucked. it started when they fired kenny atkinson and replaced him with steve nash. look at the faces and body language of everyone on the roster. there's no confidence and it's all negative energy. it's become clear to me that KD and kyrie are not good leaders. so who is leading this team??? let's go down the roster: simmons harris curry claxton watanabe morris mills warren thomas o'neal sharpe duke edwards sumner none of these guys are "glue guys" or "locker room guys". no one can pull the team together, make sure everyone's on the same page, etc.. this is the reason why the nets will fail, until something changes in brooklyn. also, losing levert, dinwiddie, and allen was detrimental! Sad to say the nets are that team on 2k with a high rating based on overalls for players but in really they chemistry and team ethics suck Ben is not aggressive/assertive KD AND KYRIE JUST PLAY ME BALL PADD THEIR STATS WITh 0 chemistry just talent and Steve nash isn’t taking serious as a coach they don’t respect him

I think it’s criminal to have an NBA team with KD as the best passer/playmaker. KD is a good passer and playmaker don’t get me wrong but if he’s the best passer on your team you have no idea what you’re doing..
