On January 20, 2021, the Decorative Arts Trust hosted a virtual tour of the Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass with Executive Director and Curator Lindsy R. Parrott for Virtual Americana Week. The Neustadt Collection includes more than 250,000 pieces of Tiffany glass ranging from full uncut sheets to fragments the size of a fingernail, the raw materials used for Tiffany’s world-renowned windows, lampshades, and mosaics. Read more about the collection at theneustadt.org/.
This virtual tour was previously restricted to Americana Week registrants, but we have opened the recording to the public in conjunction with Lindsy's 'Tiffany or Tiphony?' article in the summer 2021 issue of 'The Magazine of the Decorative Arts Trust.'
The mission of the Decorative Arts Trust, a non-profit organization, is to promote and foster the appreciation and study of the decorative arts.

I have been a stained glass artist for forty years and have always been in awe of Tiffany's works. I have read much about his life and work, but the tour of this archive was astonishing! It brought me goose bumps! Thank you so much for sharing!

I agree with suzette. I still have one of the finest glass collections by the last of the former wizards of stained glass production such as Oceana and Uroboros. I do not know if anyone has filled their shoes. I think that would be hard to do as with Jim Lundberg. You never throw away top line scrap glass as that is the mothers milk for projects to come by having large amounts of color and shade to use as you want. I have owned several Neustadt's books for many years. They are expensive but worth every penny as are the books on his houses. The room with the bathers is stupefying. I have many of the colors you showed. I thank you for being able to see the collection I have heard about. I have always wanted to see this saved from destruction collection. It is amazing and the foresight of one guy that this still exists all together today. Thanks.
