@@coyoteailstock9498 I am playing on one rn. It is a Fender Deluxe Telecaster, it is a sunburst and dang she is a beauty. The AMP I am using is an Orange there is no better AMP than the Brand Orange my friend.

Another way to think about it is just descending thirds. If you use 3 note voicings for each chord, each next chord will have 2 of the same notes as the chord prior (ex. Eminor- E G B to Cmaj- C E G). This is why it never resolves because it always leads into the new chord.

Very interesting indeed. Small claim to fame: I went to high school with Trivium guitarist Corey B. Even was in the same music class. He plays on world tours, I get to play at church. To each his own guitar path 🎸🎸

The prs is a beautiful guitar. I'm an owner of a fender american standard with ssL1 pickups.. sounds vintage and gorgeous. John frusciante sound oozes out of this guitar. Love it.

Easier way to think of them than 6ths is as chromatic mediant chords, which are a popular way of changing keys especially in jazz B-sections (peep most Jerome Kern tune). Basically, rather than looking at the chords in relation to each other as 6ths I.e. E up to C, think of them as E moving down to C and now they’re thirds instead of 6ths, which is what you would call a mediant chord
