Looks good, please let us know how video and audio quality is when you can.

Video quality was great same as audio, only problem was the dialogue was a little tinny, I did have to adjust the EQ on my center speaker a little and add some more depth

Mine's in the mail to the US from Imprint. It was $249AU plus $45AU shipping. That's about $190 US. In BTTF2 they had developed dust repellent paper so dust jackets were ancient. ;)

so - how does the new International cut 4K scan look? I already have the German version which looked amazing.

That Neverending Story LE looks fantastic. I plan to go to JB Hi Fi tomorrow in fact, I have "Superstition" and "The Antichrist" Imprint blu ray releases held for me to pick up. Greetings from Perth👍👍

I am conflicted about the price of this tbh. I paid about $190 on DiabolikDVD, and while the photos and posters look to be very high quality, it seems like those are the main extras in the set and what the hell am I gong to do with them? Probably nothing, I would’ve preferred more writing on the film I suppose but maybe that stuff is there in the folder with the script (which looks pretty cumbersome to read if it’s all single pages??). Maybe I’m being nit picky but when labels like Second sight come out with editions that have books (many times over 100 pages) with essays on multiple facets of the production/reception/legacy of a film for only $60/$70 it makes me question the merits of this release beyond the fact that it’s super cool to house the movies in a replica of the book.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. I do agree the price is up there, but I personally see the value in the work it took to create this release; also, there were only 1500 made. I also have a problem with seeing a very cool copy of something and wanting to have it (I have a problem lol). I think these days the best way to grab someone's attention is to create a form of art to display rather than just a basic release. Thank you for watching. 😀

Thanks for showing us what it looks like irl - you're the first video I've found! And wow it really is huge. I'm glad to see it comes in a plastic protector. But how on earth did you get it before its release date? JB Hi-fi's page for it says the release date is tomorrow. When I first got the email from Imprint showcasing it, I knew I had to have it, but the eye-watering price made me put off pre-ordering. I did however manage to find it cheaper at EzyDVD ($209.97 with free shipping) so finally pulled the trigger yesterday. Normally I'd wait until it's in-store (at JB) and preferably while there's a sale on, but in this case JB's page said my local store won't be getting stock and I didn't want to risk missing out since it's a limited release.

Could you confirm the audio track options for both cuts? Imprint’s press release didn’t indicate that the original 2.0 surround tracks would be included, but Imprint reportedly later said they are there but just weren’t initially listed. Would love confirmation of this.
@dickrising80317 күн бұрын
I looked on the back and can only see DTS-HD, I don't think there is a 2.0 audio
@Croweyes11217 күн бұрын
@ I know it isn’t listed on the specs. Was hoping you could confirm on the discs themselves.

5:03 the 80s childhood trauma starter set.😂 9:40 love your collection and display. ❤ Frankly, whilst I LOVE LOVE LOVE Neverending Story, and the lenticular sleeve is beautiful, this set is an epic waste of space and, to a degree, money. How often will you read the press kit or look at the pictures, lobby cards, or display the poster? Yes, the theatrical fut, extended cut, documentary and bonus features look incredibly tempting, but would a much simpler and separate Blu Ray and 4K release been much simpler and at a lower price point giving consumers a choice? Also, in defence of the additional physical content(press kit etc) a simple booklet, with the orin symbol, would have been much nicer and consistent with other Imprint releases, such as the A Bridge Too Far, Priscilla and Convoy sets that are released along with Neverending Story. Again, i am not knocking the movie,which i love,but, rather, the packaging and what comes within it. ❤
