The NEW 2024 Toyota Vellfire - HUGE Family MPV

Next to SUVs are crossovers, which are becoming increasingly popular. However, if you go to the European market, minivans are still quite popular there. And the most prominent market for minivans is Japan. This is why automakers like Toyota will still produce minivans. Not so long ago, Toyota introduced the 2024 Toyota Vellfire, which is quite the minivan. The fourth generation looks fantastic, with a new design both inside and out. But what makes it stand out? One of the most prominent figures regarding the large minivan segment in the Asian market is the Toyota Vellfire. Over the years, it has become a fan favorite, with those with large families preferring it. And now, it has received quite the upgrade for its fourth generation. Toyota revealed it shortly after the debut of the mechanically related Lexus LM.
Even though the bodywork has been completely redesigned, the Toyota Vellfire still remains instantly recognizable. The profile, which now consists of sculpted fenders and a new Z-shaped line below the windows, highlights the new generation, setting it apart from other minivans. The changes to the exterior have given it a bolder look, while those in the interior have made it more luxurious and fancy. But what’s different with the 2024 Toyota Vellfire?
The first thing you will notice is that the 2024 Vellfire now has a sportier exterior design. Let’s just say that Toyota has decided to completely change the exterior, giving it a completely new design. The 2024 Toyota Vellfire now has a large front grille that looks like the one on the most recent Toyota Land Cruiser.
On the side profile, Toyota has added a Z-shaped feature on the B-pillar. Not only that, but they have also made the entire side profile a bit more curvy. Compared to the 17-inch silver alloy wheels that are coming with this new model, the revised version has 19-inch alloy wheels, which are black and have fewer spokes. And with the new design, it looks pretty good.
On the other hand, the 2024 Toyota Alphard, which was revealed at the same time as the 2024 Vellfire, seems like the more formal version of the Vellfire. This is because of its higher quality. As for the Vellfire, it is the sportier version of the two.
In the spirit of giving the 2024 Vellfire a brand new look, Toyota has also made some significant improvements in the interior. And to be more specific, the cabin looks a bit different from its predecessor. The brown leather upholstery gives it a cleaner arrangement that envelops the passengers. When you compare it to the earlier India-spec Vellfire, the 2024 model comes with a redesigned steering wheel, a more extensive touchscreen infotainment system, and a filly digital driver’s display.
As Toyota was redesigning the interior, a few things were moved around. Toyota has moved the start/stop button that was on the right side nearer to the door in the India-spec vehicle to the left top, behind the steering wheel. Not only that, but the climate and audio controls have also been moved to the infotainment system. The middle AV vents have now been placed in a horizontal position, and the form of the AC vents has also been changed.
Both variants of the 2024 Toyota Vellfire will come with motorized second-row seats that will have plenty of room and a powered ottoman. In addition to that, both vehicles will also come with chauffeur controls and displays for the backseat passengers. Now that’s quite the luxury when you are being driven around.

So far, there are a number of Toyota dealerships across various Indian cities that have started unofficial bookings for the 2024 Vellfire MPV. However, all these bookings are under the radar. The new Vellfire that made an international debut is set to make its way to the Indian market in the coming months. As for deliveries, they are expected to start around late September 2023.
