Happy Holidays Harry! I have injured my shoulder and purchased a Prince Legacy 120 because I want to keep playing. It is also head heavy (5 points) and I have put a leather grip on it to give the handle more weight for increased stability and to lessen (for my taste) the too head heavy balance. The strings are an issue. I'm going to put either 15 or 15L gauge strings to increase control and durability. I'd prefer if racquets like this had a slightly denser string pattern, e.g., 16 x 20, but that might require the use of 2 sets of strings when re-stringing. I'm glad racquets this large are available so that tennis addicts like me can continue playing as we age and/or have injuries.

Merry Xmas. Astra is always most expensive sticks in my local stores...weird. Had a Head Speed 115 for the wife when she started tennis and struggled, then moved off that when she learned to hit better.

Hello - Which model would be good for a total beginner in their 50's or would it be worth looking at other options rather than the Astrel?

I bought granny one. But she's dead so I get to keep the racquet.
