Newt2 owner who has abused it for two years. I have had ZERO issues and can highly recommend SHH. Fully expect the Thorn would perform just as well. Thanks for the look at this update version!

Best shifter without a doubt. As a owner I can say it’s not only the best bang for your buck but also very solid compared to much more expensive shifters

I have the old model of the Shh Shifter, and I've used it a lot over the past 5 years (over 1000hrs). It's still in perfect condition, both mechanically and aesthetically! Definitely better than the Thrustmaster TH8!

Interested about the fact that you can adjust the tension for sequential and h-pattern seperately. Can you do a demonstration of how stiff you can make the H-Pattern while keeping the Sequential at a reasonable tension? My issue with the older SHH Newt 2 shifter was that since they shared the same tensioning screws, sequential would be way too tight if the h-pattern was properly tensioned.

Loved using the Newt for the past couple years I've had it. Only issue I did have is that the thread on the knob stripped out at some point, and I didn't really like the rubber sleeve. I've designed and printed my own knob like a year ago out of just bare PLA, and I've loved the thing ever since. Really solid and more immersive.

Nice. Imo only downside is that there is no boundary or w/e i should call it for reverse. But changing to sequential is by far the easiest i seen

The 6R top plate or the 7R type2 plates have a different pattern than the previous versions, so the R gear is not easy to engage and almost impossible by mistake. We have thought and tried to improve these kinds of old problems. You can check them in our website.

I see what you mean, but that's not an accessible/removable piece. It's a slightly raised section on the printed body. It doesn't appear to have a purpose.

I heard a lot of plastic-esque mechanical noises who don't sound that they feel mechanical and not toy-ish. I'm looking to get rid of my Moza hgp shifter because the magnets seem weak and don't register stick positions well without twitching to neutral every couple seconds. In EA WRC not much of an issue, but RBR it's an instant gearbox/engine failure. Basically does this shifter feel as good and tactile? Would save me the pain of buying the moza sequential too.(out the box hgp was incredible. Thought the sturdy metal build would actually be functional for years, within a month I was wrong.)
@SimRacingCorner9 ай бұрын
Try rerunning the calibration setup in the Moza software. That might fix it for you.

@@SimRacingCorner I run it for 20 minutes over and over until the shifter is somewhat stable. Anyways, does this shifter feel good/realistic? Meaning, not light, sturdy, and mechanical satisfying shifts.

@@xCUSEMEKx It's not as strong as the Moza. And I do prefer the feel of the Moza. But I'm not disappointed, the SHH tactile is pretty decent. In fact, I would say the SHH feel is more like a real car gearbox, than the Moza. The Moza exaggerates the sensation.

@@SimRacingCorner I'll take your word for it. As long as the stick doesn't go loosey goosey and it feels like it won't break My Moza hgp after 2 months barely is just like a broken Habibi gearbox the stick just so loose

@xCUSEMEKx By the sounds of it, yours has developed a fault, that doesn't sound normal at all. Maybe RMA it. Or even open it up and check to see if something is loose that can be tightened. It's easy to open up.

@FordEntertainmentGroupFEG Having two shifters is not ideal, especially in VR and if you also use handbrake. And my aliexpress H pattern and handbrake both stopped working after 1-2 years (it was not Simjack btw). So for me SSH is very good option, since it is 2 times cheaper than Fanatec, sequential mode seems better and it has special button inputs for sequential, which is great for some games.
