One of the most illuminative discussions I ever came across. I've followed, listened to a diverse range of spiritual leaders, Gurus from various walks of life to learn about life and purpose of existence. What I noticed is, 99.99% carry an ego, a boastful mindset about being the most knowledgeable and intelligent, as if a superior specie from out of the world. Moreover, they all constantly try to impress with their vocabulary, with their gained popularity, even cannot hide their ego based pride. Where they failed is - in sharing of ideas, sharing of visions, sharing of thoughts and involving people

That's precisely the reason why devotion towards God was considered to be a very important trait amongst Hindu women till a few decades back which suddenly got lost somewhere in the wave of Western ideas of Globalisation which manifested itself as cheap consumerism in our country. Because if you were a devotional lady it meant that you know how to surrender and therefore how to attain the Yogic Bliss and Control of Mind. Of course these things had lost their relevance and importance off late just as many practices of Hindu society which became redundant with time or lost their meaning completely. But the original reasons for devotion and religiosity to be important traits of a woman's life were exactly the same as a mechanism of attaining the perfect yogic bliss. It also shows how luxurious lives Hindu women used to live and how classy they were. Even today women who are super intelligent have got these traits in them and at the same time they excel in their careers too which is simply outstanding!
