In the recent history of muslim world it is evident that we borrowed ideas from western world. We need to construct our own models in the light of Islam to counter our submission to western system

In good old days, around 2013, I read (a really old book at that time) 'The magic of thinking big' by David Schwartz. It was an actually good book based on simple everyday facts on how to grow your mindset and see the bigger picture. Actually has a lasting impact on my personality. Then I found like a ton of trashy books with stupid ideas and inapplicable, intangible stuff showcasing the Evil side of this motivation mafia. Thanks God we're rising above this as a nation now. Because the world has moved on years ago.

Another great effort from your team! However the podcast focused more on the structural factors that have shaped this domain. Adding context to what aspects the religious thought leaders and influencers should be addressing and drawing contrasts between the dogmas that are deeply embedded after years and years of unchallenged conditioning can give the audience a usable conclusion. You guys do 100% job on analysis, the concluding notes can do with more value since you are already putting in so much effort anyway. Might as well give the audience solid actionable insights that are not compromised because the analysis is taking up all the time. True fan though, just a thought

I guess, the cute journalist 12:18 sir you are talking about is Amin Hafeez Sahab, & yes, true his content is worth mentioning as well, furthermore I would like to add that you guys are doing a hell of a job, I am an Architect myself, coming from a related industry as yours I know how much time there is in the office where one can express his/her positive and genuine concerns about the society or everyday life and yes it can vary from one to another, its one of the benefits of living in a free world (democracy) which I doubt pakistan is any more, but it is really important to let your thoughts out in any form (Podcast, Social/Electronic/Print Media e.t.c.) irrespective of your profession or specialties, you don’t know which though of yours could benefit anyone’s life, or their thinking process or their day to day work and so on, meaning it could really make a difference for thousands of beings, and eventually make the world a better place, and it is also a form of Sadaqah Jariyah (an act of giving in a way that keeps on giving / it is a long-term kindness that accrues ongoing reward from Allah (SWT)). We badly need to update Pakistan history curriculum. It should discuss the highs and lows of subcontinent Islamic history up till present day. Students should be given dynamic assignments and projects where they critically evaluate key historical events and reflect on the mistakes and triumphs of our leaders. Every prosperous nation has a robust history curriculum that allows the next generation to succeed and improve their nation.

Islam don't give complete guidelines its just give principles. Law from hadith is highly misunderstood. Fiqh has mistake and no one want to address it. they have so called ijma. Islam is against art according to most ulmas. According to you, music is okay art making faces haram. Arts is not encouraged.

Hinduism is not a monolith. The singular thought is not to be singular. There is no one philosophy and all philosophies are equally valid and good. What Hindutva apologists are trying to do is to Islamize and abrahamize this free thought. India wants to go back to being that free country with countless contradictory philosophies existing simultaneously. Unlike the west, Indians believe that you can be a religious as well as secular at the same time.
