I strongly disagree with the statement that the interior quality is a massive step up from the F90 - there is a tonne of hard plastic and even the door grip are hard plastic, when it was nice tactile leather on the F90

Just test drove it week ago. Interior has nice features, like the minimal design, but I completely agree with you about materials. Door cards feels very cheap, especially bottom part. The Bowers and Wilkins grill is just at the top, bottom part grill looks like Kia; hard plastics everywhere and even the storage is hard plastic in door card. My old F11 door cards feel more premium than this.

I completely agree with you. BMW followed this Mercedes trend to look futuristic however this looks a bit cheap and lazy when it comes to designers putting things together. I really don’t think it’s anywhere near step up from a few previous generations.

BMWs interior quality has always been above Audi n Mercedes, I recently sat in this and I can’t lie it didn’t feel as good as the g30’s or f90’s

Icon DRLs are the best, these new ones are quite lackluster... I think if BMW were to go back to halo after this iteration of DRLs, with a sort of retro style, they'd smash it out of the park in terms of design and looks. Personally, i like the rear of this, but the rest of the exterior has nothing on the G30

The weight is everything in performance handling. Need new batt tech to lighten the weight to get the M340 handling, n need batt to be reliable too as bmw is now on par with toyota in reliability… will achieve in time

100k for an ugly EV 5series, nahh, rather wait for the new M5 and spend thst much. But interior wise its lacking any style, the dual screens are dull looking, I preferred the ones on old M5 & M8, interior lighting is nice but looks pricey to fix. Body accents and the front and rear lights are really ugly to the cohesion of the body.
