YOU AND I HAVE THE SAME TASTES I too like full sole shoes because in my opinion they are much more comfortable like tennis shoes, however this model for me is number one with this type on a sole modified by you.

Aaron, another Very Good video thanks! BTW, who cares if someone thinks it's a waste to remove new soles, they're your boots, You can do what you want & they look Fantastic. I may buy a pair and have you do the same thing. 🤣 I loved the midsoles! Also, those were very cool laces with the metal ends. 👍

Excellent finishing , the sanding looked great , you don't always get A boot from Red Wing with that level of quality , i have sent back 2 pair of 1907 MOC boots for bad stitching on the welt and poor finish sanding on the out sole , things you have pointed out on your vids , well done as always .

Aaron, I agree with the wedge sole. I too have flat feet. The wedge seems to be perfect for my feet for comfort. You will probably wear these at work. At the end of the day, you should not be cursing your shoes or boots. I hope they make the feet feel good for you.

I put the Vibram 528k on a pair of Danner Bull Run to replace the original wedge soles. These have a long heel cap and on the soles I cut the little step out to lose some length of the heel. I wear these now for 4 months on concrete and tile floor an find these soles as comfortable and shock absorbing as the original ones. Changes the look, keeps the comfort. Your choice in this video looks great though!

Those look great! The sole is unique, interesting, and blends well with the stained midsole. Does the leather midsole also help increase comfort? Or does the comfort come from the outsole?I have brand new Iron Rangers, and the 430 seems so hard on the feet. (You may be getting an email soon). Excellent project. 🙂👍

I believe many of the Red Wing boots sold in overseas markets like a Japan are still made in the USA. I do not understand why Red Wing sells a wide variety of boots on overseas markets, but not in the USA.

The McDonalds in Hawaii is completely different that one in New York, it's not exclusive to overseas and domestic.

How do you prevent the round toe from flattening out over time?

There is a stiffener at the toe so unless your crushing it it shouldn’t flatten… I have 20 year old boots that aren’t flat… also shoe trees help
