Hello Aaron , Needed your help regarding IPad Pro charging. I daily charge my iPad Pro M1 over the night and go to bed. It charges all night till I woke up in morning . Will it have any impact or damage on the battery as it is overcharging above 100% ? . As it is a expensive device, thought to ask your suggestions on it. Many thanks !

No, that is fine to do. You cannot overcharge the batteries as lithium ion batteries have circuits to prevent that.

So I did this, and after that I set up the mac again, I got notification from system settings and question if I want the company that manages workers computers to help me set up my mac. In some way, they must have been something left on the computer from that company, it was not completely disconnected from them by this erase. How is that possible. Is formatting drive different from this erase?

What I really need to know before doing this: When you log in with your Apple ID after resetting the MacBook. (without any backup) Do you get the same Settings and preferences you set up, the first time you used it? Because those small settings/details will cost a lot of time for me. I'm confused. When you have clicked erased all content and settings the mac reboots and arrives at the language options. I want to return to macbook to apple so it is the same as when I took it out of the box. However, there is a hello screen when I opened up the mac and you don't get to this unless you choose a language and connect to a wifi network, which is also putting a password and network name onto the mac. Which do I do? Shutdown at language or choose a language and connect to a wifi?

No, but it’s encrypted so it just erases as normal. Since the chipset encrypts and decrypts the drive on the fly it can just delete and you can’t get it back.

However I'm running Monterey on an external NVMe 2TB drive connected via Thunderbolt 3. I'm not using the internal 256 drive on the MacMini at all. Could this be why I'm not getting the option?

Hello, I bought an M1 MBP 13" and battery has been an issue a it drains way fast, i saw in some forums over the net that if one makes Factory Reset to the machine the battery improves and could reach as promised the 15-20 hours. As of today the maximun i get is about 6 hours just using Word and perhaps a bit of web surfing. Is it worth to make the facory reset or what advices can you please gimme?
