I'd say that the aim assist would be something in between. This mostly due to the game being less "arcadey" than Ace Combat, while at times giving slight hints to realism, still no where close to WT of course.

@nickzuko256 Yeah the flight models or flight performances learned more towards ace combat imo since in war thunder the A4 would not be keeping those speeds in turns and climbs like that

I mean.... F5E Tiger II having the same turn rate as an F16C.... makes no sense Not to mention that the value is 39 degrees per second IRL Viper could sustain up to 19.2 and the Tiger up to 10-11 degrees per second So yeah, it's not realistic in the sense of fidelity to the real thing, however, the phyiscs applied given the game's own values works well and makes proper sense (99% of the time).

@@nickzuko256 i had no meantion of the F5E or the F16C i was talking about the A4 the attacker with no after burner wich in the video is doing shit with extra weapons it 100% wouldnt be able to irl

Yeah i know, i used the F5 and F16 example to show how it's not high fidelity The A4 actually did carry some rockets and that gun pod irl, so at least in armaments its somewhat right, though it never used all of those in the same loadout though. Kinematics in game are exagerated, as i also meant to show with the F5 and F16 examples. For instance, a plane in real life with 1:1 TWR would mean its acceleration is up to 9.8m/s^2, the game says screw that and says 55m/s^2, and in the case of the A4 it has 50m/s^2... which would be a TWR of over 5:1.... absolutely nonesensical so yeah, as i said before, the game does not have much fidelity compared to the real life planes at all, despite the in game's physics engine working decently well and realistically given the game's own skewed values.
