Great addition. Get a squirrel cage fan and blow on the hydraulic tank to cool it down. Won’t fix getting hot but will cool down faster

sharpening the cutting edges with an angel grinder might make the boxwedge cut better with less waste. Chris, from in the woodyard sharpened his single wedge and that was a night and day difference.

@@outdoorswithandy732 Andy I have to confess something. My old log splitter blew up. I found a 3-month-old county line 25 ton log splitter for 950 bucks. The guy also had a brand new Echo cs590 timberwolf chainsaw with a 20-in bar. $1,275 couldn't pass it up. I bought it

What size are the inside splits on that box wedge? How do said inside splits look as campfire firewood?

Honestly I haven't measured them but I think Andrew said 5-5.5" I do have to respect some of them but not bad at all
