I just ordered this one, the V3.0 version, after seeing it reviewed on one of my FB home gym groups. I was already up in the air between a rack mounted Titan or their seated one and a few others. His review on FB pretty much matched this one so it seemed to meet my needs and wants for my almost completed basement gym I started last month.

Just found you, I was searching for a review on this. Good shii, being the first review man! You had me rolling when you beat that beefy thickness at 4:35. Subbed, PS you're the smallest Marine I've ever seen... haha jkjk fitter than me. CHAIR FORCE!!! Been looking into this to purchase instead of maybe the Gearforfit Leg ext/curl which is a pendulum as well but because the plates are loaded forward and angled, I'd imagine the resistance curve is better than my current BOS leg ext/curl. But it's also center loaded rather than the sides so it would be more even... idk GOOD VID man keep it up!

Thank you for your kind words! And thank you for your service! And yes I am a small marine lol. Surprisingly I was a machine gunner and which generally made me appear even smaller for a lot of years 🤣. But yeah I’ve used this one for about a month, no complaints so far.

I’ve been watching reviews on the style all week, and I was just about to pull the trigger on the Ritfit. Thanks to this review, I went with the Lionscool. The adjustable seats and thicker pads sealed the deal for me. I have no problem buying different hardware or even welding if I need to to fix any issues with it.

Good video, good review, just missing a good camera! Is there a leg extension/curl machine you think is better than this? I have a background in physical therapy. I like how you explained the difference the cable makes in the line of pull for the weight.
@SolidHomeGymReviewsАй бұрын
@@ricerxp Yea, I’m having some exposure issues lol. BUT that’s a tough question to answer! Because of the ones I’ve used. Both are really good in different categories. I’m also using multiple right now to see what’s good overtime. And I’m also sort of letting each of them breathe a little bit because they JUST released. Like I said, time will tell more than anything. Thanks for watching!

Can you confirm if the foot/ankle roller piece strength/rigidity has really been improved in this new version? A worrisome complaint I saw before was the ankle pad flexing when loaded heavy and thus causing uneven loading where one leg was carrying most of the weight.
@SolidHomeGymReviewsАй бұрын
The list of improvements they sent me DID include the leg pad. I don’t have any complaints about the leg pad so far. But I did end up flipping it around for a deeper rep, like I showed in the video.
@killerkhatiby009Ай бұрын
@@SolidHomeGymReviews Yea saw that they listed it as an improvement but was curious if it really did make a difference when the loads got heavy! Good to hear that it feels solid with more even distribution of the weight between both legs 👍

@@LugoDHdude I really like how you can flip the leg roller and get a deep stretch. Another thing you can do is unlock the pin that transforms it into a leg curl but leave it in the leg extension position. This allows you to lean back as much as you want and really get a nice good stretch at the bottom & the top. It’s a great machine man
@anthonycaballero445712 күн бұрын
@@LugoDHthe ritfit not being adjustable, the pads being too thin, and the leg roller being too small was a deal breaker for me. No regrets on the lionscool so far

I'm a welder, that's sloppy work. Bad quality control. Seems like this company is learning as they go, Hopefully they can fix that in the future.

Is better than the Ritfit version?
@SolidHomeGymReviewsАй бұрын
That’s a tough question to answer because both are good in their own way. It’s also a question I don’t plan on answering right now. I’d like to let both brands get their product out there a little more before I answer it because my reviews don’t come after regular use. They come after I have just acquired them. Eventually I’ll be doing a comparison video, so make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss it!

How’s it compared to Ritfit? I feel like the stretch for the leg extension isn’t great
@JV208828 күн бұрын
The lionscool is similarly priced to the Ritfit. Which would you go with? I tried the ritfit and it's very smooth but definitely not 1to1.

@Davidtresmoore apparently this has been asked before and he said he couldn't answer. I didn't see the threads until after I posted. I am curious though. After using both for some time if the smooth operation is worth the less than 1 to 1 ratio.
@CapeandCowlFilmNews25 күн бұрын
Ritfit is 3:2 ratio, fyi

I went with the lionscool simply because it’s adjustable, leg roller is larger, and the pads are beefier

I believe the 14lb non loaded spec is referring to the weight of the lever arm with no added weight. If you add 50lb to the arm, your lifting 64lb

How highly would you recommend this for doing hip thrusts?
@SolidHomeGymReviewsАй бұрын
Doing hip thrusts with these machines are kind of like doing shoulder presses with a leg press. You can do it. And it works. But it’s not the best machine for it lol.
@joekiat3519Ай бұрын
Any updates? Is it holding up? I really want to give it a try but Amazon reviews are scary. Mainly the washers are not think enough so it causes the pivot rod to bend which makes the leg pad uneven.
@SolidHomeGymReviewsАй бұрын
@@joekiat3519 I gotta say, so far so good. The leg bar has always been at a very slight angle but it hasn’t affected anything. The pad is nice and thick. It’s comfortable. I would highly recommend flipping it around so it can go a little deeper though (that’s what she said) as shown in the video.

@SolidHomeGymReviews If you flip the pad do you have to keep adjusting it for leg curls and extensions? So just make sure the part is inside the square part?

If you could only afford one, which one would you buy between the Ritfit or lionel?
@SolidHomeGymReviewsАй бұрын
Can’t answer that. I’m sorry. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Ritfit’s machine is the smoothest leg curl I’ve ever used, but the small and thin pads leave a lot to be desired. Lionscool is more sturdy and a better wider leg pad but certain components are flawed.
@joekiat3519Ай бұрын
Which one uses better steel? I read the Lionel flexes under heavy loads.
@SolidHomeGymReviewsАй бұрын
@ yes but I think that’s more due to how it’s put together and keep in mind they’re continuously fixing little things here and there. It’s definitely flawed. But I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. I’ve been using it for a bit and it seems okay. I’d say they’re both about the same steel. RitFit has better powder coating though.
