Not so convincing sound quality. Not referring to your demo but watched other demos too, same there, not enough high quality sound one would expect from this price range.

Lol, no you're exactly right, no one would expect high quality sound from this price range, one would expect to pay much much more.

@@dankeplace what synth is your favorite in this price range / would recommend? I’m actually an Arturia fan (have Pigments and the little MicroLab keyboard) but have to say that a synth like Ik media uno synth pro sounds better than this. What do you think?

@@hireality have to disagree with ya there. If you don’t actually own any of their hardware synths why ask what people’s opinions are about it when the first thing you do is criticize it’s overall sound based on STOCK PRESETS. Depends who you watch using the thing. You watch people do preset scrolling, it’s usually disappointing. Watch someone who has actually spent time with it and made their own patches. Then you might actually hear “good” sounds. It’s all preference anyway and you are literally the first and only comment so far I have seen of anybody saying “nah not high quality enough” If it’s enough for other synthesists who also own the hydrasynth and other poly’s I would imagine you are in the minority here!

@@aaronellson9849 your point well taken, I found this demo of minifreak pretty fantastic: kzbin.info/www/bejne/apinZWCMoMmorpY I’m a newbie to the synth world, beside Arturia Pigments and MicroLab I have a Elektron Model Cycles that I absolutely love and recommend 👍

I have always felt the base Arturia keyboards lack warmth and quality. If I was writing a lot of industrial music it would be good. I keep coming back to the Cobalt 5s and even then ... My old JDXi can do great pads all day long.
