Typically with the Arturia stuff you can make split payments if they still have that option available with up to 4 installments also you can purchase additional soundbanks as well to give you loads of more presets if you're not into sound design

MiniFreak V has been my fav synth for a few months. I love the Augmented Series for cinematic sound inspirations. Wurlitzer is much, much better. Don't care for the Acid V but I don't really love the OG synth either. Haven't messed around with Mini V4 much yet but I can tell from demos that they have made the basses sound a bit fatter, which was an issue in V3. Idk if that's worth it for you, I think it is. @@thefapboy1850

Also worth noting this thing is good on your CPU I have a juiced out Mac Studio M1 Ultra and a M2 baseline MacBook Air. It works great on both at low latency as well without any dropouts… that’s actually insane

Thanks for the video. The V Collection contains so many classic synths and sounds its nearly overwhelming... but I still love testing the new offerings, unavailable and/or too expensive to buy. Most synth bands, apart from a few artists, managed with just a fraction of the synths available in the V Collection X and did pretty darn well. I'm mostly interested in the Mini rebuild which is sounding much better, missing the version 3 vocal filter and motion recorder but the new implementations work well.

This collection is good however I have V collection 9 which is good as well. But 600$ is not worth paying it if I originally have paid that price when I first bought it they should have an option if you have already own it to cross upgrade it for a discounted price like 35% to 40% off if the upgrade was sold at 300$ then that would be fine I would upgrade it. Yes they updated previous plugins that already have but it isn’t worth paying 600$ again. I’m gonna have to pass on this on good video tho Bolo thanks for the info.

I can upgrade from my v8 for €299. In some ways that’s not a bad price. But for me, the synths I wanted from my youth are all already in v8, the only other one is the SQ80 but I bought that from Arturia as soon as they released it. I also own NI Komplete 14 collectors, there simply isn’t anything in the VX collection that makes me even start to think ”must have this” and I imagine a lot of others who feel similar, they may not own the collectors edition of Komplete, but many will own a different version or Omnisphere etc and for me, the upgrade price simply isn’t worth it (£600 for someone who doesn’t own it is a great deal), I’ve already upgraded in previous releases and bought a few things standalone like the SQ80. Of course they need to make money to exist, however I think it’s reaching saturation point in a way and I think they will struggle getting most of us to upgrade. Had it been €150 or less, I would have upgraded to get the latest versions etc, but €300, simply not worth it to me. They have to ask themselves which is better, say 1000 people willing to upgrade at €150 or 100 people willing to upgrade at £300.

I hear this, but I think it's worth noting as a longtime customer that the version upgrades for piano, rhodes, mini moog, Jupiter, piano, and now, wurlitzer, are pretty dramatically better imo. They also upgraded the algorithms for effects over time, which I think Arturia is slept on for.

If using a pc alot of patches use gpu power I had issues with the Augmented instruments with a i7 32gb ram but I was using integrated graphics when I switched to I7 16gb and 3050ti problems went away

Arturia is trash. Not the products they aren't bad. But their customer relations is trash. I literally bought the v collection 9 a week and a half ago. Haven't seen one ad for the v 10 coming out or I would have waited. Hit them up and they want to charge me another 200 dollars to upgrade. I bought the digital so I can't send it back. And they didn't handle me just a automated mail saying yea you have to pay another 200 to be up to date. Never mind that I have been a loyal customer I updated to analog lab pro a few months back paid full price. And I paid full price for this and nothing. I could see if it was three months or longer but not even a week and a half. It's trash business practice for sure. Never mind I paid full price. Smh. Lesson learned. Been on board since Collection V 1.0 And this is the biggest disappointment in 14 years for Arturia Synths. Waldorf Wave, Casio FZ-1, EML ElectroComp 100/200/400, Ensoniq ASR-10/Mirage, Kawaii K5000, Korg DW-8000, KORG DSS-1, Octave Plateau Voyetra-8, RSF Kobal, Crumar Bit 99/01/One... I could go on and list many more... and what about Drum Machines? Missed opportunity.... Thank god for Cherry Audio, Synapse, TAL, Gforce etc.. to pick-up the Vintage synth torch and keep on releasing unobtainable vintage synths/samplers in software form... Sorry but seriously just no imagination from the product marketing team. TB-303? in 2023? and realistic virtual instruments?... so disappointed. Not upgrading.
