You forgot to mention the true superpower of e-ink; you can draw outside in bright light. An iPad with maximum brightness will lose contrast. I’d market this a great digital plain-air sketchbook.

Oh, I really like how this product works, actually! The base pens and pencils have a lovely texture and really suit how you sketch! makes me wanna get one too, honestly. I've been looking for something to carry around that isn't my ipad since it doesnt always like the bright sunlight/I've been in the market for a lower tech option for sketching after I realized I have 34 sketchbooks I need to archive from over the years >_< The pixel-y output reminds me of small sketches you can find in video game or movie artbooks, it seems super friendly for iteration, but you're right that free transform would be pretty important to be able to use it regularly. The airbrush not working nicely and the pen sizes being set is also a bit of a bummer, but I bet that's a really quick and easy fix for a 1.2 release or somthing. Cool review as always, I love seeing what kind of tools you're using/testing out :]

Mostly it's always on my desk as a todo list (I have a Running Todo File) and for all the memos I take during book-reading, and meetings - it's nice to have like 3 notebooks in one device and be able to juggle pages and copy stuff etc.

I am sorry but I won't understand these prices (close to real tablet with technology), either Remarkable , this one or any epaper tablets ... This hardware has 4GB ram and runs with a RK3566 Quad-Core 1.8 GHz .... For example a raspberry PI having the same CPU : RK3566 Quad-Core 1.8 GHz, 32 GB RAM costs like $50 ... So the price is in the screen ??! a technology license to pay to someone ? Because it's niche ?

When your audience is small, the cost of software development etc. can only be spread across so many customers. So yes, the cost of a niche product. Hopefully more people will see the benefit of distration free tech
