It's truly impossible to make YT and video processing sound the same as IRL even with a very decent mic, which it is. BUT I AM GLAD YOU LIKED IT IN REAL LIFE!

Why do you need to be a millionaire? Just start of slow with second hand speakers, B&O speakers last for ever basically. :)

Is this this single or paired (I know you got two from last video) I am thinking about this as a tv speaker (Non B&O tv). I have the Beoplay A9 new generation and unfortunately there is no way to connect it to my tv without lag (Bluetooth lags a lot) This might be the solution

Only one is playing and I think you'll have the same issue as you have with the A9. Using the line in would be a better option to try to see if it fixes that lag, but for TV B&O's best product would be the Beosound Stage. hope that helps?

compare to devialet phantom reactor 900 which is better in sound clarity and base power

Personally I think the Balance is better everywhere except bass power, Both have a silly amount of bass power through and the Balance is more accurate in the bass power(not to mention it's also does stereo) but the devialet has more general thump. So it depends mostly on what you're after.

Mikipedia We are not gonna put 40 speakers in our living room, so choices have to be made. I think wives are easily satisfied with B&O speakers because it’s not an ugly black box sitting in the room. And I’d rather spend this kind of money on a used B&O speaker. We’re not millionaires so I need to think before spending. We got 2x BL3, 2x BL4000, 2x BL8000 and 1x BL7.1 Still in doubt what I want to change... maybe adding a BL19 for movies, but I’m not really missing the low since the 7.1 goes deep enough for my musical taste. I’d love to change the fronts into a pair of BL5’s but they are a bit to expensive since my wife doesn’t like the look. What would you change/add?

probably the weakest link are the bl4000, but it depends what you use them for. Have you ever thought about beolab 12-3 or 12-2's? or if you like the look of them changing them for 17's? how is this all situated btw? If you'd like to send me photo's or have this discussed on the podcast you'll be able to have more input form more people, but I am more than happy to give you my input! just need a bit more info on how it's driven and how it's situated :)

Mikipedia 7.1 is obviously the centerspeaker, 8000’s front left & right, 4000’s rear left & right. 3’s in the kitchen diner which is connected to the sitting room with our BeoVision and BeoSound. I love the looks of the BL12, but wouldn’t they be to good for just rears? Would you put the 8000’s as rears and the 12-3 as fronts? Still think the 4000’s are great versatile speakers, truly under appreciated in my honest opinion. Maybe it’s because the design is very basic looking.

Is it me but it is sounding boomy to me too much low and weak mid and high range... compare with B&W new wireless speakers?

I think it's you or what you're listening to it on. All tracks used are really bass heavy, but it's not boomy at all, just powerful. well I don't know what to say then, maybe the 800s are naturally lighter on bass then I remember?! But i can assure you that neither in real life or on my end did it sound boomy. It does have a lot of bass but only when it's requested and there is actually even more midrange and top end than bass irl. it's not bose or jbl or anything like that AT ALL lol :p

That's a very hard one, the Stage I think gets my vote because it's more versatile. Either way neither is a bad choice, just very different categories really :)

You can stereo pair it with another one and it's waaaaaaay more powerful than a homepod and it also doesn't leave any scratches like a homepod does when you turn it up :p

yes I have a Beosound 2 and this absolutely blows that out of the water. The beosound balance has 880 watts of amps in it and goes to over 100 db, in terms of actual sound pressure it very close if not better than my beolab 17/18's. The beosound 2 has 102 watt of amps in it for instance so the difference isn't even close and not only that, the Beosound Balance is the exact same price as a Beosound 2!

@@Mikipedia I was kinda looking for a comparison in audio at a normal listening level to the beosound 2, which I already have. I can't imagine I would want to upgrade, but if I decide to buy more I may go with this one, although I kinda prefer the Beosound 2 look. I never turn the Beosound 2 near its max level as it's very loud. So are there any advantages in sound fidelity, or is it just volume? The Beosound 2 sounds so good I can't imagine being able to hear more.

@@Macroproxy I'll try and do my best at giving you the best representation in one of my next few videos, but I am a bit hampered by what YT does with compression and such. The Balance does actually sound better even at the same volume range as it had more drivers and a better dsp to control it all. There is more clarity in treble and a whole lot more mid range. also the Balance has an easier time with being fully 360 sound so to say and especially shines in what would be a wide mode (wall behind it). The difference is obviously less huge when you turn them both way down, but non the less it's there, but in terms of actual sound it beats the bs2 hands down. How ever a lot obviously depends on use case and if you like the style or not. Neither are a bad option, only good ones to be found here :D
