I would give it a 7. Surprisingly Qurious Crafting of armor isn't as bad I thought it would be. I play 6 weapons and so obviously I have heck ton of builds (elemental, status, raw) and surprisingly I'm getting what I want be it a specific skill or slot upgrade, to fine tune all of my builds. So it's not that bad.

9. It feels like a unique return to Guild Quests in 4U where you’d get randomized armor pieces as rewards. But like how talismans work now, the reward is a material and you do the rolling at the base. 90% of your rolls probably aren’t going to be what you want, but that’s why it’s interesting. It makes you consider using things you weren’t looking for and giving people something unique to their builds that most others won’t have.

like 6, I don't love RNG mechanics but it adds a lot of flexibility to setbuilding and my biggest problem is actually getting the investigations I want/need for certain parts for weapon augments, and not having them start at like level 4 so I have to run them 40 times before I get the part I need.

Your math was a little off, regarding Attack 7. 10% of a 330 raw weapon (not including additional modifiers) is 33 (not 14). 33 (10%) + 10 flat = 43. This is a 13% bonus to a 330 raw weapon... not a +14 flat bonus.

As a SwAxe Main here I can tell u this : use the Silk Bind "Wire Step" with this build an you proc Rush for days with enough I-Frames to dodge through all Monster Attacks if times well (At least I heavnt found an attack i couldn`t Wire Step through, though i go with 5 EvadeWindow for Comfort on this most the time)

Try rapid fire elem LBG , you can combine crit elem , crit boost , elem exploit and elembane , steady 400+ damage per shoot on head in super safe distance for my lvl 90+ investigations. Also adding evading extender , the dodge distance for LBG is huge and very responsive

I made an adrenaline rush3/status trigger1/bladescale hone3, evasion 5 (and foray 1 (wish I could fit more, maybe with better augments) bloodlust 1 coalescence 2 WE3 CB3) set with the rathian sns and while it's fun and strong when it works, it's surprisingly difficult to make work. It's making me realise how much I've gotten used to just dodging out of the way of attacks rather than dodging through them with so few s. By the way, Qurious Crafting has been datamined and the skill list is surprisingly limited (or not so surprisingly if you've done many augments- you tend to say the same skills again and again, most of which are from the 3-point-cost table; every armour piece has a "budget" between 12 and 20 (partly based on rarity like the game tells you, but there are tiers within the same rarity) and every skill has a "cost" between 3 and 15 with lower costs obviously taking less of your budget, but also being more likely to appear, which also means some armours straight-up cannot get some skills _at all_ from qurious crafting). Anyway no Adrenaline rush and the other non-talisman skills aren't on the list. Also, Daora Soul is a 6% damage increase to raw only at 0 base affinity with Crit Boost 3. With 65% affinity from other sources, the extra 15% from daora soulis 4.7% damage (again to raw only). At even higher base affinity, or with elemental damage being a factor, Daora Soul represents an even smaller increase, so it is almost always outclassed by species exploit gems (except against Gaismagorm and Rakna-Kadaki, which are unaffected by any exploit gem). Sadly level 3 rampage decos are just not useful on most weapons because they're all outclassed by the level 2 decos. I get it if it's just to be lazy and not have to swap out your decos between hunts, but I think it's worth mentioning.

Make sure to add that the only fights where it is better to have the Doara gem is: Gaismagorn, Rakna and Pyre Rakna since they don't fall under any species gems.

apparently wirefall can trigger adrenaline rush and status trigger. Found out by accident. They also both trigger very generously. Dodging near an attack they wouldn't have hit you also counts

Use the ninja sword for 100 percent affinity, make sure you have dire scales to upgrade the rampage slot, slot in defence 7, crit boost 3, attack 7 and any other quality of life skills.

Actually the BEST combo is resuscitate lv3, coalescence lv3 (1 is enough but you already have 2 from Shagaru Helm) and bloodlust lv2 (bloodlust lv2 is better than 3) SPECIFICALLY for afflicted monsters (they could work with anything but absolutely nuts when fighting afflicted mons). Lemme explain, it’s not very hard to understand but might started a lil bit confusing so read very carefully: - Resuscitate gives you 20 raw at lvl3, bloodlust lv2 is 15, so basically you start the hunt with 35 raw. Blood blight DOES trigger resuscitate, keep that in mind for now. - When you have conquered the virus (or recovered from any abnormal statuses), you lose resuscitate, and instead gain coalescence, which should give you 12/15/18 raw (only counting raw but it also boosts elemental and status value). Also 20/25% affinity boost in conquered state. - HOWEVER, coalescence and resuscitate DO stack! It means at peak point (in this case, virus is not conquered and you’ve just recovered from blood blight/any abnormal status), bloodlust lv2 + resuscitate lv3 + coalescence lv3 = 15 + 20 + 18 = a WHOPPING 58 RAW! And it happens more commonly then you would think. - When you are not in that peak state, if you big brain you should understand this without further explanation: most of the time you either have bloodlust 2 + resuscitate 3 (35 raw) or resucitate 3 + coalescence 3 (38 raw). Now, this combo works best for *Switch Axe ZSD style* since when you ZSD you automatically gain blood blight - healing, gaining resuscitate and dealing damage without any downtime. Furthermore, ZSD explosion is pure raw, no crit involved so this skills combo scales extremely good. Finally, let’s be more specific with my build, combining with chain crit lv1 and peak performance/resentment lv1, my climax raw boost value is 73 🙏.

I've tried Furious and while it is fun to use, you'd be losing out on a lot of skills. If your goal is simply to not lose stamina, try using the Demon rampage deco. It's a lot of fun and would prove to be more efficient in this regard

524 attack on DBs? You're crazy. Well, you dodge roll after a charged attack on greatsword. You could time a weak attack just before the monster attacks you, dodgeroll through theirs, then set up for a Strongarm TCS/ Rage while they set up another attack on you. That would be an idealistic situation. Like Lucent doing an easy to dodge attack, then going into double tail slam.

Imagine using Dual Blades but not using Hellion Mode Rampage Deco and Protective Polish instead of stacking Affinity skills. Good enough base armor set for the other weapon types you mentioned, but suited least to Dual Blades specifically.

Imagine thinking that hellion mode is any good. It was nerfed to 20% affinity instead of 100%, and PP is not enough to justify it, aside of only working when youre in demon mode which has no 100% uptime. Litterally no one uses it and any other rampage deco will give you more dmg than 20% affinity that you could get with bloodlust.

@@Rubydrag33 we're comparing with Daora, which only gives 15% affinity. In case you were wondering, 15% is less than 20%. If you don't have 100% demon mode uptime, try using dash juice. Indeed, you would do more damage by having stamina skills for more Demon Mode uptime, and protective polish to keep sharpness, than stacking affinity beyond 70% and dropping to blue

You will never kill anything in 1:30 min and the alternatives for this skill are 100% more efficient in dps and deminishing returns. I'm confused about the talisman. I didn't think it was even possible to get attack 3 on top of that many deco slots. Plus hunger 3. You must have won the lottery on that one. My best is WEX 2 and a single 3 slot. Never seen an attack above 2. My friend has spent all his points on melding after 200+ hours and never got something remotely as good as that.

there's a setting in the options that allows you to display your Silkbinds when you press the left trigger. I have it set to display them for 5s after pressing the left trigger, you can make it longer if you want

Theres a setting in the options to show your silkbind moves when you press the left trigger. It should be 'fixed' by default, but I've changed it to dynamic, having it last 5s after I press the left trigger
