As someone who has always stayed loyal to the Mercurial Superfly, I decided to take a punt on the Premier 3 and so glad I did. The P3 are phenomenal boots and for me... Better than the Mercurials. The touch on the ball is far superior and I find them an equally fast boot. They're also more comfortable. I wore them on Astro Turf and they were great. Very good acceleration, not too aggressive with the grip I tried the Copa Mundials on and they were far too wide in the midfoot. The Premier 3 are narrower but the excellent lacing system will accommodate many foot sizes. For me, true to size also.

Love the Premier II, but agree they get sloppy after time. Especially if you have wider feet. Still the best boot on the market if you like the classic tiempos from the mid 90's. Hope these raise the bar.

Got these for our Sunday league games as it's been too slippery for the Mundial Team AG's. Got blisters after the first game lol But bearing in mind that the Mundial Teams needed some break-in, I'm still hopeful. Love the leather on these, as well as the velcro patch to lock the tongue. A real classic look. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I prefer classic builds over ultra light synthetics. Cheers!

Regards the leftover bit of velcro for the laces after removing the tongue , you are also able to cut it off too and there’s a non velcro one underneath .
