Linear, dynamic, standard are all aim response curves. They have nothing to do with aim assist. They have to do with how your aim sensitivity works while moving your stick.

well yes, but this can all still affect aim assist if you truly think about the variables. horizontal aim assist from movement can directly correlate how your aim assist locks by if you're over flicking your target, under flicking. if your micro adjustments are off. I notice that my horizontal aim assist feels more locked when im playing on linear at low sens compared to dynamic at mid sens. the way the stick speeds up and slows down can all determine how snappy or loose your aim feels. at the end of the day i think its all about consistency you can play very well on dynamic one game then shit the next. switch it up have the best game on linear ever then do terrible next game. sbmm and eomm is at fault for this tbh not the player. in my opinion obviously. i could just be spitting shit. but in my personal experience this is how its felt.

As an apex predator for 4 years I can confirm these settings won’t work for you if you’re an apex player. Try 12-10 for sensitivity and use linear with .85 ads sensitivity .

Great video. Is it better to play with the lowest dead zones regardless of stick drift, since when you have your thumbs on the sticks it doesn't drift anyways? I've been testing that out, because I only get stick drift if I DON'T control the right stick as shown in your demo, and I understand that's the common/correct way to adjust/test dead zones but I've been thinking if we should be testing it with thumb pressure, curious to hear your thoughts on that. Currently I'm on 0/0.1, coming from 0.5/0.5 in MW3 and I've noticed a better ability to control micro adjustments in aiming, also switched to claw and play default flipped.

Thank you! It depends how drastic your stick drift is. If it is very minuscule then I would and you are comfortable having to recenter your analog it isn’t the end of the world. I always recommend playing to your comfortability

Right stick is mainly for centering at first and recoil control, left stick does the MAJORITY of small adjustments. The right stick is used for tracking if you or your opponent is strafing at a decent speed or if they change trajectory continuously. General rule of thumb is when you aim you should always been pulling down on your right stick very slightly to mitigate the recoil then the rest is situational. Train being able to use both your left and right sticks and knowing when to use each or both with bots to have a general idea (though bots aren’t the best indication in this particular game)

Serious question: how can you move quickly with a 105 or 100 FOV? I'm keeping 115 as from Warzone just not to feel "slow". With 100 fov and 6-6 you have to have a perfect centering that it's not the standard for normale players. Then if you use the 120 on WZ, decreasing the FOV you should increase the sens because 6-6 at 100 is not same as 6-6 at 120...

Anything over 12 is the only way of feeling comfortable coming from m&k. Anything lower just makes everything so slow for me. But agreed if you want pure accuracy and aim assist abuse then lower the better!

Change your ads movement speed. It's at 1.0 default. Best way to look at it is your h&v sens times your ads movement sens to make it what it becomes. So .9 and lower slows it and 1.1 and higher moves it faster

Does anyone know why my fps is extremely low on call of duty? My fps is averaging 60-90 and I have a Nvidia GeForce 2080 super with a i7-9700k with 16Gb of ram on windows 10 and I have every graphics setting on low for better performance. It's been this way for the last two call of duties. Also, my GeForce is updated to the latest driver and I always make sure it's updated to that. I thought this pc was suppose to average at least 150-200 fps on call of duty. I would understand if I were playing warzone but this is just regular multiplayer. Please help I just want my pc to run better performance.

Most pros use 100 but the general range for the average is 95-105 since this game is closer range I wouldn’t be surprised if that was between 100-110

Ideally you want the smallest fov that allows you to have enough visibility that feels right for YOU because a smaller fov will make targets bigger so you’re more accurate but too small will make your screen peripherals smaller making it harder to see more around you, it’s up to you and your playstyle
