i'm not gonna say sylas is in a particularly weak state rn, but the reason those champs in particular want to ban him is because the threat level he poses when he has their ults is terrifying. there's a damn good reason malphite vs sylas is the statistically worst matchup in the game 3 times over

Sylas is kinda op, but it's written in his kit: Lichbane/tiamat for passive, AP ratios like fucking Viktor, heal on W, 3 dashes with stun, and stealing ultimates. It's kind of champion that is strong in design alone, that's why he needs to be kept out of meta, similar to Azir, Zed, Yuumi; Some of those champions demand more skill than others, but regardless when they are meta they are simply too oppressive.

Mainly because Sylas is a counterpick by design, but as a stand-alone he isn't such a threat. We can take a game with the enemy team being a Darius top, Udyr jg, Corki Mid, Twitch Ad and Yuumi sup. Almost every of those ultimates are unreliable, so he loses basically a huge part of his power budget.

There are still better champions for mid than Viktor, for example Ahri and Orianna; btw Viktor's ult is growing once evolved, around 20-30 minutes of playing, and since its his passive buffing it Sylas shouldn't be able to use upgraded version. But I'm not sure about that last one. And Viktor isn't good ban for Vex, since her ult even with recast time lasts longer than his W, shes more burst oriented, the only thing thats concerning for her is his E range and ult. Jeez.

These are literally challengers, youre nowhere above silver trying to explain a matchup in terms of only the two champs fighting each other. Viktor punishes vex hard when she roams with his waveclear post lv6, he also doesnt use his W unless Vex R2's then he drops it on himself, its not hard, and he hardcore outscales her and is a ton more useful in late game fights, he outscales her at 2 items, and at 3 theres no comparison

For malphite only take comet if you can poke down the enemies. If you face a melee with good sustain (illaoi, fiora, Aatrox, maokai etc...) grasp of the undying become better because it gives sustain and scale better. Comet is worth in like 70% of the time when you have kill pressure over your opponent (against a Jayce, a smolder, gnar...). If you know that you can't kill them, taking grasp allows for a better runepage with the resolve tree as a main tree. And you can still take mana flowband in the secondary tree.

I play a lot of mf and i feel like shes still much better as crit. Lethality is good for early but crit also doesnt take long to pick up and maintains really high dps against all types, tanky or squishy. Essence reaver into collector its wraps.

The only real problem with crit is being powercrept with IE. Without it you don't deal significant dmg, but it costs 3600, same as rabadons that's exclusively THE last purchase or the purchase in highly accelerated games, but ADCs are forced into it as quickly as third or sometimes second slot. MF can kinda work around it and avoid IE for some time, however you can't avoid it forever and for the same cost you'd have your lethality spikes faster. I don't say crit is worse, but it objectively spikes later than lethality, especially when playing from behind. For that reason Zeri, for example, goes statikk into IE rush for the most optimal dmg setup without delaying power spikes for the next game.

@@Yutorii49 there's never one stable build, especially with MF. Basically it's either full crit or some lethality and some crit. Yomuu/hubris > collector > IE/LDR/Serylda's into squishy teams works really good and snowballs like crazy. Go LDR into more melee heavy comps, where you can easily weave in some autos and Serylda's against long range comps to deal more ability dmg and slow them. MR if the team needs anti heal. Tanky and beefy comps work only with full crit. It's either ER > full crit or BT > ER preferably > IE > situational but most of the time LDR/MR. You shouldn't really go BT first as it delays your power spikes really hard, but can help out in heavy poke games (think of Cait Lux bot with artillery mage in midlane), so always build accordingly. My personal favorite is ER > Collector (if enemies are squishy) > IE > LDR > BT. Good luck.

Its only a nerf if they didnt add the ult buff, and they did, so no, objectively wrong. It has a new feature that wasnt accessible before, the fact you have to unlock it mid-late game doesnt change the fact it was added and makes it an outrightbuffno matter what angle you look at it from. His E mana cost also got lowered by 10 at all ranks, and because thats his primary trading and waveclear tool, that adds up A LOT over the course of lane, you new to league or something?

Ban Vayne? Bad advice. Vayne is basically a weak and practically useless ADC. Sivir, like Vayne is low range, but it is better at almost everything. Waves clearing, gold accumulation, team fights, team utility. Sivir is simply better. Vayne is only stronger in 1 on 1 fights, but Sivir doesn't need to fight her 1 on 1. And by the way, Sivir's shield works great against Vayne. - it gives Sivir total invulnerability against Vayne's stun. And overall, mages on bot are just better than any ADC. I hate mages on bot, but I encourage everyone to play them, maybe then the morons at the developers will finally pay attention to this shit.

Sivir cleans up the entire wave in one boomerang and ricochets, with Vayne unable to get close as the ricochets bounce into her as well. So Sivir's death is either due to her greed or a positioning error. P.S. There's always the support factor. You may have to die for a support mistake. But that has nothing to do with Sivir herself. It's just the nature of the bottom line.

@araksiel Brother, it doesn't curve, there's a small cone that goes behind the minion. If you're within that cone and nothing is in between you and the cone, then it will it you. Yes, it can be used to zone and do big damage, but it's also very easy to avoid if you pay attention and respect it. You can also move forward of the minion and not get hit by it lol. Mf wants you to play behind the minions and play slow. She doesn't want you to stay on her, because full hp all-ins are generally her weakness. Vayne, tristana, kaisa, ashe, kalista, draven, samira - all adcs that have massive kill pressure on her if you can stay on her. Also, lvl 1 Q does like 160 damage max on a last hit bounce. Caitlyn Q does more damage and pushes the wave. It's not broken, you just don't play well around it and that's okay. Easy to improve. Don't feed into delusions though
