update: seth’s defensive assist -> quick assist is very strong, forgot to mention this after playing for a while since I was mostly starting fights through chain attacks/stuns, however it is definitely strong!

cannaaaa considering him at lvl 1 clears shiyu with jane . and he's there only for sheild as a budget build maybe just lvl him so he has enough hp to tank a single hit

One thing you missed is that you can quick assist back by using his defensive assist. Thats how I usually give his buff to my anomaly unit be it Jane or Grace. I barely even use his ex special attack cause it takes too long. For skills I would recommend Assist first before Basic.

Yea I use Jane then def assist to Seth Then back to Jane I don’t use anything else

You can use his charged ba then ex skill cancel with quick assist

How do you do the defensive assist?

@@Nicolascolau but its better to just do the defensive assist so there's more time for jane to do dps. I only use seth to provide that anomaly proficiency buff for my hypercarry jane anyway.

The shock damage difference between running electric or atk% in the 5th slot disk is so negligible that I feel like you might as well run atk% just for the slightly bigger shield.

Something of note: if you dont have any of seths good defense w-engines, using an off-class engine with a good attack stat can still be an extremely solid option

I've been running 4pc jazz, 2pc blues with ap, atk, atk on 4,5,6. I've got a team with Jane, Anby, and plugboo as a pseudo disorder team and its working amazingly well. I don't think energy is necessary on seth at all cause he has so many options to passing that shield especially with anby on the team i get more frequent stuns so seths resolve is always waiting with the already super long timer and since you should be dodging anyway with jane and not just tanking hits. But the ap is great im seeing big shocks and disorders coming from seth+plugboo

Jane + Burnice + Seth/Lucy, which is better? Lucys atk buff that works for both or Seths ap buff (can also give Burnice by switching to her ONLY during Chain Attack, but mostly on Jane) and Anomaly Buildup Res.

I currently use Anton Anby Nicole, would Seth be a good option to replace Nicole in this team or is he not worth it for the shocks? I feel like Nicole is much more consistent but not sure if Seth is comparable since I haven't seen anyone talk about how these three synergize. I'm currently building more proficiency and mastery over ATK on him, around 200 - 250 anomaly proficiency without his shield buff

Get 4 piece Proto Punk, you get bigger shields, and 15% DMG increase when you do defensive assists. The 2 pieces are flexible, for Yanagi I will use impact 6th with 2 Shockstars but for Jane you can go with Hormone Punk, Swing Jazz, Freedom Blues, Chaos Jazz, Thunder Metal, Woodpecker Electro all of these work as 2 pieces. Most importantly, get 4 piece Proto When the video was made, Proto Punk didn't exist in the game yet, so it isn't even mentioned

If you just want polys go inter. But the bp has insane value for all the resources it gives you. As a low spender, the only time i ran into resource issues was full building both jane and seth. The bp basically let me build Jane but i had to work for Seth

I’d say BP would make playing the game a bit easier. Considering how expensive levelling a character in this game can be, the recourses you get are very helpful. Membership is only good if you want to pull more often.

That's the team I've been running and it has been clearing content very well. There has been a lot of misleading talk out there about Grace being bad with Jane, but in actual practice I have found it to work fine. Most likely not as good as Jane/Burnice will be, but more than enough for now.
