You see people using the Heat exchanger from engine to heat up water and underfloor heating glycol. This be good to drive the van and all floors warm and hot water when get to camp destination, How would this be done with the CamperVan? The other great thing is solar topping up batteries when 100% heates the heating element in water tank for hot shower of the solar. - Great vids and kit you do!

I was wondering how do you drain the water out of the cyclinder for the frost in window. I have on of the first of these cyclinder systesm bought it two years ago and it is a great job.

how about efficiency? An "external" radiator should be more efficient that the usual pipe-based-blow-thru-Boilers that have a small heat exchange surface in the air tubes... is this the case? But otherwise you need more room for the external radiator and electric energy for the recirculation pump When goingthis route using more room I'd like the system to perform better and heat faster.... That the case?
@bobilvans420527 күн бұрын
@@ScimPeep yes it’s absolutely the case! The blow through tubes are around 10-15% of the efficiency of an active radiator system.

@@chblabah we’re working our way through it! Yes you can upgrade, it’s just the new exchanger, hoses, clips and the plumbing unit and expansion tank. Just send us an email and we’ll figure something out.

Do you recommend installing John Guest check valves before or after the system? How would you deal with pressure build up between the tank e.g. the shower?
@bobilvans42055 ай бұрын
@@ih2530 just on the inlet. There is a bit of pressure build up but that’s why there is an expansion tank, it massively reduces the increase in pressure to protect the pipes.
