There was an update to the game today. Each shop will now have a 50% chance of being 'max level', and they will occasionally contain re-roll machines, as they did in Afterbirth +. The game will still be eminently more difficult than it used to be, but in a fair manner, I'd hope.

I feel like sin should have teased the new ending/boss in the title to get more clicks from the Isaac community that isn’t already following him. I think the success of most of his higher viewed videos was the “broad appeal” that gets people from outside the mosh pit watching. Any random can search “binding of Isaac strong run” or something like that and some of sins better performing videos show up. There would be hundreds of people googling “Isaac final boss” or “Isaac dogma” or something like that and some of them would have been introduced to sin through this video alone

What's the deal with Sinvicta skipping Gimpy for three soul hearts at 9:48 ? Did it get a big nerf or something? Taking it would still leave plenty of soul hearts, and pays off in the long run due to hits and donation machines. Sinvicta might be good enough that it doesn't payoff from hits, but does the shop nerf make donation machines that useless? Edit: It could've paid off in the library alone, I'd trade a few hearts to get more of the books out of the item pool.

I had the most insane run with Azazel... Tiny Planet+Eye Of The Occult+Birthright = Absolute Death I've never seen anything like it! I highly recommend that combo.

The soap bar is a tears and shot speed up, the weird metal cross thing drains all your red hearts (in antibirth leaves you with only a half red heart) and gives you extra damage. The more the hearts, the bigger the buff. It makes Bethany a beast, especially if you have lusty blood (the one that gives you extra damage the more damage you take)

There should be an item where at the end of the floor you choose an item that you have and then choose a follower that will take on that tear effect. For example: picking brimstone and rotten baby creates red flies with a cool boiling effect or something that shoots an antigravity azazel brim shot in a random direction on contact. Just spitballing. Lots of cool interactions that could take place
