CAMERA SETTINGS FOR THIS TEST:
A7SIII with SEL24F28G lens + CHS Cine-NV adapter
4k/24fps SLOG-3 with rec709 LUT
12.8K ISO (NOTE: This higher ISO is the dual native on SLOG-3 on A7SIII, so we can get the least amount of camera noise with the best video and use a smaller aperture so the clarity from the camera lens is less impacted by the camera's aperture)
F5.6 to F11, we changed the aperture to better expose the NODs in bright light conditions, this does not change the sharpness or focus of the image from our testing though stopping down can induce some softness to the sides of the image
1/48 Shutter
5800K White Balance (we found this to be decently true to colour on most NVGs)

It's crazy these are cheaper than AGM "PVS 14"s. I think I'm gonna buy one. I can buy used Omni blem PVS 14 units for less than 2K but that 10 year warranty is great.

I would assume yes because they are Chinese intensifier tubes but beware in some countries you have layover at could not allow it such as German but also they could try to take them at airport in USA so might want to declare it first but idk on that

If I already have a tube with a higher FOM/SNR than listed for these, would there be issues with bridging this and the higher spec tube, could different specs cause headaches or migraines?

Generally speaking a performance difference won't give you that much grief, but things like a difference in colour tint may be annoying. The more important thing is collimation when bridging two devices. Misalignment or lack of collimation will be the #1 cause for headaches and other fatigue-related issues much more so than a performance difference. Case in point - there's a high chance your two natural eyeballs are probably not identically performing yet your brain has the mental acuity to resolve the image with no issues. Why you didn't mention Compatibility in the jerry 14 video. Marketing strategy?

He literally went over all the possible accessory and part compatibility for the Jerry 14 - you can mount a COTI or a lens protector/iris on the objective lens, no accessories besides the eyecup on the back lens, and you can't upgrade the Jerry 14 really.
