Hi and great video. Whats your observations and opinion regarding the black ion plated steel? How does it react to Scratches and will the coating fade over time?

The black model could definitely pick up scratches over time. I have a different watch with the same type of coating that has a couple scratches where the steel shows through.

Love the design of these Promasters, but the retail price seems a bit steep. Orient Kamasu has similar specs and is half the price.

At 3:54 the 2nd model from the left seems to have better / much better lume than the others .... was it just more exposed to the light than the others hence its fresh lume ?! Very nice review . I am torn in between the dark green dial model and the blue dial/bezel both with straps . Blue one has red second hand .

When it's necessary I'll Just pop in some Sapphire in my Fugu 1st gen. I bought it new for about 225-250 dollars. These new prices are really out there.

Nice review. I just bought the full lume dial one last week while on a cruise. I got a pretty good deal I thought. The one negative of the full lume model is that a few hours into the night, the hands blend into the dial and I cannot tell the time. Pretty disappointing. They should have made the hands black like some of the indices. Other than that, I really like the watch.

The white dial is sharp, the contrast of the batman or the green (non coated) would be more usable for quite time checks. These are my top three.

One other thing I forgot to mention but the white one had quite a bit stronger lune than the others for some reason. Might be a one off but it was really noticeable.

I don't know of these are a worthy upgrade from the NY0040/84/85/86, etc. At that price, but probably these will go down at market price eventually. I hope the bracelelets van be sold separately. I think it may be compatible with older NY0040 watches.🤔

I only have one criticism on the full lume dial, at night the hands wash out against the face, and I find it difficult to read. Perhaps broader borders on the hands, so as to block out the lume in the background, would have worked better. Otherwise, it's an awesome watch. I can always throw on one by Ball. No prob reading that at night.

Now that's a collection, no kidding! But would love it to be the Promaster Ecodrive (BN0150+, plus the godfather BN0118!), as i'm a big fan of solar watches. Nice vid Bob, really nice to see a big part of the line at once, thanks mate. PS Hope you don't start/end up getting payed with watches.... i know times are tough but this is really "old school" payment! 😋
