This or the feather? Thoughts?

So happy I found this channel, he is so detailed in his videos. I’m an old guy and all my reels are from 60’s through early 80’s. Most are Penn level winders what we called them in the day lol and Shimano with 1 Diawa. I recently upgraded to my first DC reel so freaking amazing, thanks for sharing.

I just purchased the Seasir Mansory and it looks exactly like this.

I have the Mansory as well as this Clamber and mine are similar but the quality of the Clamber is better.

Thanks for the review. When you do a casting review, could you please mention the number of turns the reel handle with different lure weights. This is the most understandable measurement, everyone can do the math, no one cares about inches. I'm a metric person myself and the first measurement I notice is 10 feet which is 3 m.😎

Nice reel, it feels like Acura but with aluminium body and less weight spool. I love clamber 2 better than tendershoot..it designed more smart and with more quality. But one stupid moment is that spool from Tender does not fit into the Clamber and in other direction too)
@THEREELTEST Жыл бұрын
So you have both Tendershoot and Clamber 2? Nice

On the old and new version.... does line get stuck between the spool and frame when you get a birdnest or overrun?

I dont know yet

Your finger test suggest the reel may be over braked, but that should be very easy to fix if it is the case. So I'm going to have a hard time resisting adding this reel to my collection! 🤤 P.S. Have you changed your mike or something? Your voice sounds different than usual.
@saraieatsstirfry5537 Жыл бұрын
Gonna pass on this one. I’m waiting on the new Soloking Acura. New spool is short shaft now, so it will be way lighter. It’s my favorite Chinese reel by far. Has the best looks imo. Also waiting on a Flightfeather with a drag clicker.

No ported spool? Yuk
@doinitwithjl5421 Жыл бұрын
Ported spools aren't really needed anymore. Wall thickness has gotten thinner which makes a super light spool that is much stronger than ported spools.
@Voxguitarsrock Жыл бұрын
You can't see if the spool is ported or not when theres line on it?
@AlexRamirez-vz1vj Жыл бұрын
@@doinitwithjl5421the exact same spool would be lighter ported... Not saying it's bad now... but ported would likely improve performance and casting distance.. Curious why the hyper clamber had a ported spool
@AlexRamirez-vz1vj Жыл бұрын
@@Voxguitarsrock there not going to know.... How will they know? There gonna know...
@treehunter1 Жыл бұрын
@@AlexRamirez-vz1vjyou can always cut the holes out yourself and figure out why they decided not to port. It’s more than “holes = lighter”
