The New Community Hospital East: Building 1 Demolition Timelapse (July 12-16, 2016)

External demolition of Building 1 was completed on July 16, 2016, paving the way for our new $175 million campus facilities. The construction of an entirely new hospital will take Community East into the future for many years to come. At 0:23 is where the crane on the far left is taking down my office that I worked in for 30 years in the Medical Library - the office was in the curved brick wall right on the side walk and next to security - perfectly good buildings coming down was a horrible waste of money. The administrators who did authorized this don't know what they are doing because the "new hospital" is quite ugly on the inside and that "new lobby" is a waste of space.
