I still love my Cosmos II, i just want those tinted glass panels of the anniversary edition. This one looks different, i do like some things, and a few i dislike. For example the drive bay cover along with the PSU Tray cover looks absolutely ugly

Coolermaster saw dimitri's review of the anniversary edition, and in the short period of time, fired the one who thought of it, revamped the case and made sure hwc would see the result :D

joris yauw nope, they actually planned this way long because designing a case takes a long time. The anniversary version is for nostalgic aspect while this is the improved layout version.

In love with the Cosmos II for 3 years now, and now totally in love with the new Cosmos! I think I just found the next case when I will be about to build my next PC! :) The notes that Dimitri said about the minor changes the case needs (and I hope Cooler Master is about to make), where on point and would make that case the perfect case for me!

Looks good, but one thing I don't understand is why the cover on the inside is so massive. I understand a PSU shroud but I wouldn't want any more covered. As long as your wiring skills are on point then surely the point of a tempered glass side panel is to show off as much of your build as possible? Otherwise the panel might as well just be windowed.

Thought that was very odd as well. Why waste the money on a curved tg panel when over half of the case is closed off with that inner panel? Covering the bottom area with the psu and drives is fine but covering pretty much everything else is an extremely stupid thing to do imo.

I seen another video of someone reviewing and showed that both lower and side panel easily comes out with 2 screws now for those that want to show the whole case off.

The Silverstone TJ11 has the motherboard turned 90 degrees, that the IO is on the top and GPUs are vertical. It is also inverted from a standard ATX case, that the motherboard is facing the right side.

1. SSD Placement will be better if put 2 SSDs on top PowerSuppy Cover 2. i agree with Dimitri, that cheap glossy plastic on i/o panel must be replace with something better 3. Blocked PowerSupply Cover will be more interesting if there is cut through to see PowerSupply's Label 4. HDD Cover can be better than that, at least User can show off their front Radiator and tubing 5. Overall this design alot better than last concept Cosmos..., good job..

I really like the label on my Corsair RM650X. If you have money for a cosmos, you can afford a PSU with a sticker that looks quite well (Corsair's come to mind).

I will defend all of the drive caddies in the cosmos. If you do texture work professionally or some other creative jobs you can never have too many terabytes. Those 8k textures really add up

I like the fact that you can mount the motherboard vertically...that's pretty cool! I owned and still use till this day the older model of Cosmos 1000, it looks cool but the cable management is horrible.

design suggestions: @3:39 that side plate should be removable, have with ssd mounts on it, and should be made from either tempered glass or the same material as the feet and handles and a similar type of anodising to the iphone would be a good finish for the front io panel

that cover is removable paulshardware did a video on this case and all the screws in the case are all the same so you wouldnt need a specific one for something but he said you could take it out

Im a big fan of the old cosmos s and im still using it and will never replace it with anything, but if imma build another pc, this is my case to go, looks like it has the true cosmos essence that made the cosmos s the king of gaming casing back then when it was released, but i have a feeling dimitri will have some complaints whenever he'll be reviewing this in the future coz based on what we have seen before, cooler master designers have a reputation for coming up with a great product with some weird quirks that pulls them down from the rest of the competition. Think about the linus's personal rig which is the silverstone tj07, he never replaced it simply because no other case that was released after that didn't quite have the essence of the tj07, thats the same reason why i think the cosmos 2 was a failure, the interior layout was quite under designed for its size, so much wasted space, being the biggest case in its class but still can't fit in a 480 rad, bad understanding about the targeted customer needs

Keep the PSU shroud, dump the front side shroud altogether (or make sure it's removable, I wouldn't want it in my system). Make sure the top drive cage stays removable. If I can mount at least a 360 rad top and front, and have room/options for pump/res mounting, that case will be a strong contender for my new x299/x399 build.

Horizontal pump/res mounting options on top of the PSU shroud would be a nice touch, as well. The latest 1080ti PCB's are long, and don't leave a ton of room for thick front rads and pumps, so I imagine slipping one under single GPU builds would be handy.

the power suply shroud is good but i think they should remove or give the option to remove the over panel, it's a case targeted to modding and watercooling and when you watercool your systeme you want to show the reservoir, with this panel the case seems closed and it's not what a modding/watercooling case should be (because you want to show off your stuff when you're modding or watercooling) Otherwise the rest is perfect :D beautiful case !

Me thinks the 25th AE was a tester for feedback. lol The fact they only put the Glass Window on one side is a plus. NO ONE wanted it on both sides without heavy modding. If it were wider and split in the middle, then sure, but this case is big enough as it is. Just Bought a TT900 for my Threadripper Build to replace my Cosmos II. Now I guess I'll have to build a VR HTPC in this for the Living room. I have no Idea where this is gonna fit. lol

Why would you hide the cables on the back of the motherboard if you do not have tempered glass? It seems like a waste of time even worrying about that to me. Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that they have that option, but I think they should also have an option to have tempered glass on both sides of the case to fully utilize this feature. Maybe they are going to do that though, I may have missed a important bit of information in the video.

I agree with a lot of the other comments that they should have just come out with this model and not the anniversary edition. I'm glad they still have a optical drive bay for us diehards that refuse to go without one. I like the idea of PSU covers but they're always implemented extremely poorly; they should be more modular so you can fit it to the size of your PSU, use the extra space for cable management, use those panels to something besides an ssd, and or even make them more modder friendly. The Silverstone raven did have the mount the motherboard up so heat just exits the top easier but i'm not sure if it was a modular option or not.

I'd get it and would pay a bit more if the front door was Aluminium as well. Despite what was mentioned, the front still looks plastic (although not bad for plastic). I'm just one of those that wants all metal & glass dude's. Had years of cheap plasticy rubbish and don't want it anymore. Still a nice case though.

I don't know if I like this one... The bottom legs don't look right... I don't like the shroud that would hide my LED reservoir; I like the slide down front panel of the Cosmos II and I think the LED strip on the handles and legs should be built into the handles and legs and look much like the warp nacelles on the NCC 1701-D rather than being built into the case and shown on the handles and legs as they appear to be in the video. Honestly; I would loved to just have had them update the Cosmos II altogether with tempered glass and RGB LED's and I think I would have been fine with that...

IS THERE ANY WAY THAT THE FRONT IO PORTS CAN HAVE DOUBLES OF - Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.1 (V2), USB 3.0, and USB 2 on the front of a case. I know its somewhat motherboard based but in my humble opinion everything now-days seems like its all about looks and lighting, rather than top end practicality and real world options. I may be wrong and may not be possible, albeit I'm just asking the question - why its "not" so.
