It is a little more expensive than other lanterns out there but IMO, it is 100% worth it. If you go with the Lightranger 1200, you're paying $175 but then getting the colored filters puts you at $200. Going with the 2000, you dont need to worry about getting up and changing the color filters since its all built in AND that bluetooth wireless controlling is really a game changer when camping. I can easily change the brightness or turn on/off the light completely without even touching it. And its really well built speaking from experience as I've forgotten to stake it down once or twice and had it tip over from 9ft in the air. Still working flawlessly even with a few scratches.
