Very clean build. Not sure if you mentioned it, but is the mounting tray custom built for the components you put on it?

About to pull the trigger on a new Water Tank. What are your thoughts on the water tank now that you’ve had it for over six months? Any issues or concerns? I’m debating on the 7 or 5 gallon. Because of weight concerns, I’m leaning towards the 5 gallon. Ideally, I’d like to have a 7 gallon but my roof rails are rated for 165lbs and with my RTT, I’ll be just over the weight limit when the tank is full.

@campygilmoreАй бұрын
@@kyusencol8394 surprisingly not much wind noise at all! Prinsu provides top tier products and their engineering hit out of the park for the fairing angle and light bar mounts. No whistle or anything like that. The only noticeable noise is obviously the mud terrains but they didn’t bother me in the slightest.

Haven’t had any recalls and don’t anticipate having any. It’s a Toyota we’re talking about, not a small manufacture. Although there are issues with every manufacture, in the event that I am affected I’m very confident Toyota would make it right. Not worried in the slightest.

I would kept the 3rd gen tacoma a bit longer. That rig has a lot of life and character. This new 4banger battery pack is just a ticking time bomb. Literally hundreds of things that can break in any car, but this one more than others.

I will admit, it hurt to sell the 3rd gen. She was my baby. But, I’m excited for the ticking time bomb. Haha. I’m really enjoying the new tech and getting out with a new build. We’re taking about Toyotas here. Even if there’s issues, I’m confident they will make it right.

I have the victory 4x4 blitz hybrid bumper and thinking of getting this bumper with full headlight hoops. I have the winch relocation box bracket already so all I really need to do is unhook power cables, move the winch and lights to the new bumper, cut the fenders, and install. Done. I was looking and the hybrid version of this bumper but that doesn't offer any protection for the headlights. $380 for the caps though painted is a bit steep and since I already threw out the black part of my OEM bumper, I rather just cut it anyways since I cant sell it like that anyways plus the paint matches so il put that $380 towards a dermal tool instead....

I bought a few different sizes on amazon. You can get plastic wire loom that is a harder, more protective material, or go with what I went with and bought expandable braided wire sleeving. It's a little harder to feed the wires through at times but looks better IMO.

@HorizonBound2 ай бұрын
It is a little more expensive than other lanterns out there but IMO, it is 100% worth it. If you go with the Lightranger 1200, you're paying $175 but then getting the colored filters puts you at $200. Going with the 2000, you dont need to worry about getting up and changing the color filters since its all built in AND that bluetooth wireless controlling is really a game changer when camping. I can easily change the brightness or turn on/off the light completely without even touching it. And its really well built speaking from experience as I've forgotten to stake it down once or twice and had it tip over from 9ft in the air. Still working flawlessly even with a few scratches. Also, if you use code HORIZONBOUND at checkout, it should save you a little extra cash. Thanks for the comment!
@outbackeddieАй бұрын
Don't forget that you can add a motion detector to this light. That's really helpful if you want to be alerted to the grizzly bear that's about to break into your camper and eat you. Or if you just want to get up and go to the bathroom (nearest bush) during the middle of the night.
