With the Scorched Railway Histories of the S&M in production, I thought here I would make an announcement on the “New Edition of Alfred”, a fan film i was making (which is basically how I would rework or attempt to rework The New Story of Alfred by Bosher). So long story short, I’ve quit production on the New Edition of Alfred. At first when I first started it, i was determined to make a film of how I think “The New Story of Alfred” should’ve played rather being being a plagiarised frankinsten, but as I made a ton of discussion videos of Thomas the tank engine topics, plus videos on my alternate universe of TTTE and my soon to be dive into real life interiority, with me looking into real life basis’ like the Raven S3s and even the Raven A2s. I slowly begun to lose any energy and passion to work on the fan film about Alfred who would be 98462 in that film (even though I personally don’t envision Alfred as 98462, and I’ve made that clear in my AU where I made him into a GER experimental 4-6-0 by S.D Holden, who would become apart of the NWR and be turned into a 4-6-4T.) A few things that contributed to me losing passion were issues I’ve noticed and scenes that could’ve been done better, despite it I’ll release the unfinished product of it, where it will also feature my commentary from the start abit, then at the end where I basically say, I forever quit on the project due to a lack of passion and motivation. Just continue on what you're more passionate about finishing and what's up your alley. Since the production of TNEOFA's in a close due to your waning drive, it's only natural the best you could do is post the video on it in an incomplete state and feel the need to free yourself from the burden of needing to complete something you've grown less passionate about.

So In my au duck arrived on sodor in 1930s before Henry was rebuild into a stainer black five in 1934 or 1935 when tidmonth need another station pilot there he story kinda go the same like I. The railway when rw w Audrey would worte his books after ww2 until in 1952 when diesel arrived before rw w Audrey would write a story diesel in the railway series and after that diesel sent away after diesel tricked Henry James and Gordon that duck he’s horrid but in actuality sir topthem found out about this and he was sent away and the. Later diesel was scrapped and later duck got his own branch line the little western

@@gfuelmonster5415 first off the film is not canon to my main AU Second models I originally used was Alfred (both 98462 and LNER variants), RWS Henry, RWS Gordon, blue Donald and Douglas, Bear, Boco, Oliver, RWS Thomas, James in RWS Livery, Charlie, Arthur, Edward, Duck, Flying Scotsman, The Red Engine, The Little Blue Engine, Blue Donald (for a background character), Neil, A1 Henry, GNR Gordon, and 98462 with blue Donald’s tender for 87546.

in this film since he’s B16 in this cancelled film, he was likely Built between 1919-1921. however I personally in my AU (in my universe that’s not canon to this film of what the new story of Alfred could’ve) see him a GNR H3 but with the 4-6-0 wheel arrangement, rather then the 2-6-0 wheel arrangement who was built in 1921 and was loaned to the NWR between 1922-1925.

In my A.U 87564 is Henry’s twin,both built in 1919 and arrived in 1920. 2 years later in 1922 Alfred came with Gordon

@@floydgaming3106 the ending is basically after Alfred helped Henry get out the stormy mess, Henry sees Alfred wasn’t a monster, Alfred would reveal to him what happened from his point of view and Henry would feel bad for treating Alfred like he was plague given the fact 87546’s death was beyond Alfred’s control. The two reconcile their grief, Alfred becomes a member of the NWR (as did Charlie and Arthur) and handle the express with Gordon til Pip and Emma join. Arthur would go to work on the Norramby Branchline and Charlie would be a station pilot at Knapford.

I think this could still be a complete story, with this ending: While Alfred is telling the story, someone else (say James) is taking a train, and accidentally causes a lineside fire at Henry's tunnel. After Henry departs Knapford, he sees the fire, and starts getting PTSD while looking at it (the fire), and thus, he cannot complete the journey. Shortly after, Bear (who still is at Knapford at this point) hears the news, and informs the Fat Controller, who asks for a volunteer to help Henry, and put out the fire. Alfred, who feels very much like he has to prove to Henry that he isn't a murderer, volunteers to help. He gets over there, Henry starts saying rude things to him, but he doesn't listen to Henry, as he tries to put out the fire while also trying to hold back his own past trauma with what happened to 87546. He eventually puts the fire out, which shows Henry that he isn't a bad engine at all. In the end, Henry ends up apologising to Alfred, and the two engines become friends after that. In the end, Alfred is placed on the express to help Gordon, Arthur gets allocated to the Norramby Branch Line, and Charlie becomes the station pilot at Knapford, and reveals to the other engines, that he once worked on the old Wellsworth and Suddery Railway, which becomes a cliffhanger for a sequel focusing on Charlie, and maybe even Billy

Honestly this can work, I initially had the idea where Henry did find out and felt bad through a mainland engine who once wore red, before he broke down on the middle of the mainline in severe whether and Alfred saved him (albeit through the begs to prove he’s not a monster). In the end Alfred saved Henry, explains his side of the story and Henry sees a new side of Alfred seeing the remorse for what happened to 87546 and the two rest their burdens.
