It depends. EMBRAER have jets that have roomy interiors, and by that it means that they don't want to fight "mano a mano" against the big ones (Boeing and Airbus), because it's another type of "fight". But... BUT... Boeing is facing big troubles with the Max Series, and... Airbus doesn't have enough room to increase the production of its own jets to face the demand that isn't being feed by Max Series. When one of the "big ones" starts to show a weakness, and the other big one can't face the increase of demand, this creates a room for a third company... And now EMBRAER have to think if it's time to grow and face the challenge, or... else.

Based on Boeings latest criminal behavior Embraer might move into second place.

The 2+2 configuration is the best in the business. Much better than the 3+3 of Boeing and Airbus.

"undisclosed reasons"!? Dude you really don't know your facts. It's common knowledge Embraer has halted E2-175 production, because it's too heavy for the US scope clause, and US operators are going to be the primary customer. Also you're naive if you think "regulations" are going to cause airlines to spend tens of millions on new planes, they won't. They'll simply pass the increased costs onto you the consumer.
@takeoffoptions7 ай бұрын
American Airlines ordered the 175, but not the E2 version like you said. That would go against the airline's contractual "scope" clause

Didn’t Boeing have some underhand business dealings with Embraer regarding this product. I can’t recall the exact details but Boeing somehow left Embraer in the lurch.
