Was it not risky putting Leeroy 3rd? Because opponent can go first and just cleave on murloc. Is it ever a play to sell ghoul and put atrocity first, leeroy second?
@wilhohanzo5 ай бұрын
Attocity could die attacking and then he wouldnt have a taunt minion next to Leeroy, no?

@@penguino1235 original comment said sell ghoul meaning he would have 6 minions, also calling someone buddy in this situation makes it seem like you are talking down on them and is a bit rude.

What was the reasoning for not playing the second picky eater before tripling on turn 4?

more luck than skill you won last two rounds with very low odds and your opponent had so much bad luck. I really like your videos but when you show skill not luck.

The deck tracker frequently miscalculated odds when multiple Deathrattle spawns are involved. We've seen this across many builds in the past. He almost certainly had a much higher chance to win than was shown. Hope this helps you enjoy the content more.

@@latetunnel8892 Thank you for little clarification, but key on both rounds was: put toxin on Arid Atrocity and author started both rounds and bad luck with hit Titus. I believe odds were real in this time. one of two action would happen and author will lose for sure. Anyway I really like his videos. He nice explains aspects of game, but this time is just below his quality because usually his videos are based on skill not on luck.

@@funnycompilationswow The positioning and subsequent leeroy pick up and placement were skilled plays though. This is exactly how you play with "skill". You adapt contextually and improve your board position. Ideally as best possible. A key point here is order of operations that I believe you've missed. Regardless of whether the opponent attacks first or Shady does he has positioned his poison Murloc first. This means that as the Ravager attacks minions *simultaneously* , the murlocs deathrattle is triggered first and before the Anomoly dies and then copied on to the Anomoly. Which then dies saving it's state for the Cultist reborn. And the Leeroy is effective in 3rd position regardless but not intrusive by being elsewhere and disrupting the order of operations. I find it likely he wins the last combat no matter the rng of combat. This is exactly a showcase of skill. It's also an rng game. Shady has always espoused a mindset of understanding the odds and the meta. Rng is baked in. You adapt and optimize and weigh odds. This final piece is the key overarching concept to understanding meta statistics. You run scenarios over and over to find the plays that optimize chances to win based off of a 4 frame outlook. Aggressive loose, agressive tight, passive loose and passive tight. It's a poker concept that translates fairly well to hearthstone. Better you could say because in poker although you have the turn the river and the flop, your opponents hand always retains information in Hearthstone while the poker board is neutral. The key information of your opponents likely position and board value allows refinement turn per turn. This 4 frame mindset puts you in the best position to place or win the round/game.
