The new FAE STCM stone crusher at work in China

Launched on the market at the beginning of 2024, the STCM is a stone crusher for tractors up to 280 hp. It’s perfect for clearing rocky soil and preparing fields for farming. This new model features various technical improvements over the previous one, the STCM, including a wider opening and the adjustable hydraulic counter blade, making it very attractive for markets around the world.
The STCM is especially popular in Asia because of the large rural areas that need to be cleared and made ready farming. This is the experience at the new FAE branch in China.
The STCM began clearing an extremely arid and rocky steppe before it is turned into grain and potato crops. “The large rocks buried in the ground have always made mechanized farming difficult in areas like this one. These stones are usually removed mechanically or by hand, an exhausting job the never ends. When the STCM finely crushed all the rocks in the ground in one pass, even the ones 20-30 cm in diameter, working at 9 meters a minute and down to 20 cm deep, everyone there got excited. And now the local municipalities have found a new way to solve the root problem,” commented Diego Ranzato, CEO of FAE China.
The STCM is especially well suited to work this type of land, also because any minerals from the crushed rocks could potentially increase soil fertility. STCM’s adventures in China are just beginning, and the development prospects are clear. This model meets a real market need and is the first technology to recommend and explain. “We hope it will be well received everywhere in China that needs land clearing, in the northern and southern parts of the country,” Ranzato concluded.
