Yeah like Sae's team was completely below his level and below blue locks level. They sported good team play but Aiku, Sae, and Shidou were the only two doing anything and Sae is literally the person who picked out shidou and helped him score twice plus the only other goal that Japan's U-20 had was again by Sae who shredded through all of blue lock. Also just cause his passes are getting intercepted doesn't mean he's doing poorly, as a midfielder he's got to pass it and it's not like there's something he can do to make a pass that's impossible to intercept. He just got dealt a bad hand with players who'd lose out to the blue lockers so they couldn't really get the pass. I'm not trying to glaze Sae too hard cause obviously sometimes it is his fault for willy nilly passing the ball and Rin stopping required Rin in his flow state(which is insanely op) especially as it's being shown currently in the manga

Yeah as we can see in the NeL, Blue Lock is only now catching up to NG11 players and I think they are still lower with the only 3 id consider close being Barou, Rin and Isagi, with Bachira and Shidou getting their, while the only U-20 players to keep up with BL being Sendou and Aiku, and I guess Fukaku but I don’t really count him so the rest of the U-20 team was and still is below Sae, and obviously for Lorenzo BL is better than the players around him because Ubers is like all BL players

Tbf, the game was pretty much Blue Lock eleven vs sae and shidou, 11 vs 2, so its acceptable to the Blue Lock players to be able to intercept the passes

In Blue Lock, if you're in Flow state, then you're operating at peak performance. This has been said multiple times! Sae was operating at his peak performance at that moment. There's no denying that...

I never understood the “but the blue lockers intercepted Sae’s passes so I think by use of feats hiori and Charles is a better passer☝️🤓” that has to be the most brain dead thing I’ve heard yet no matter how good of a passer you are I don’t care if you’re KDB if the person you are passing to isn’t in a favorable position and his being hounding the pass will get stolen 9 times out of 10 I can give the best pass every but if my striker is surrounded by 3 ppl who have just as good field vision as me I the ball with get intercepted the reason hioris passes don’t get intercepted that much is cuz isagi has top 2 offensive positioning in the u20 category

@@Kappah. you’re equating this to real life. This is a Shonen. Missing is rare. There’s a reason that kaiser is the first person we’ve ever seen completely MISS a shot. It’s exaggerated so passes not being as accurate is a rarity as well as shots being off target. What applies to real life doesn’t apply to an exaggerated fictional series.

Sae did perform pretty good, he just didn't had good strikers And the new Gen 11 aren't invincible, that's all that's been said here Kaiser still is the best of a whole country on his generation and can dribble past a whole team. His mentality it's his weakness Lorenzo can lock down 1v1's but when a midfielder enters flow, like hiori did, it's hard to predict. Remember they're still young, technically they're the best at their country but are competing against the best in Japan

In kaisers favor it was specifically shown and told by Noel Noa himself that kaiser is actively nerfing himself due to his hyper fixation on isagi. Forcing himself to narrow his decisions and plays specifically to isagi only. It was an obsession that caused him to play recklessly and almost self sabotaging. Since kaisers goal didn't happen yet by the posting of the video I can't blame you for your analysis. So this is more towards the recent people watching this video. But yeah once kaiser dropped it he started playing better but I think it was done far too late. Cuz at this point isagi has still closed the gap to a point where even when kaiser begins to play better and outperform isagi in some aspects, the story still narritivly supports them being somewhat equals now. Where a goal between the 2 of them can go either way. Kaiser is still comfirmed to be an individually better player but isagi and a few other bluelockers have kinda put the newgen11 title to shame and are on an even playing field. Although I kinda expected it from rin. So I'm not too mad abt that.

The thing is, New Gen 11 players weren't given the extra push that the blue lock players were. New Gen 11 players didn't have ego to teach them or such a sense of competition with other players the same age to be number 1. They got to where they are by themselves brick by brick while if the blue lock players didn't come to blue lock then they would still be complete and utter trash compared to the New Gen XI.

2:43 Sae didn't have a bead of sweat on him throughout the entire match; do you think that was some sort of coincidence? Just because it wasn't explicitly stated that he wasn't trying doesn't mean that wasn't the case. You can even see it in his tone of voice and facial expressions. Compare his reaction to realising Isagi is the heart of BL compared to Isagi's realising Niko was the heart of team Y back during the 1st selection. Sae showed mild curiosity, whereas for Isagi it was a eureka moment that turned the game around. But yea I 100% agree the progression throughout the NEL was way too fast. Isagi should've just about unlocked Metavision by the PXG match imo and like Niko, it should be imperfect. Metavision also should've been used way more scarcely too, since now it seems basically anyone with even moderate pitch IQ can unlock it and the majority of players who have unlocked it barely change after doing so.

I agree the Lorenzo was definitely a plot device to keep Kaiser out of the game but to be fair he can't man mark Kaiser and Isagi and Kaiser does boast the deadly reputation being the gen 11 striker, and the top striker on the team, and the one play that Lorenzo let off, Kaiser immediately scored with his broken ass kick. Also the Ubers being a team that follows a plan up against Isagi who is a guy the makes plans on offense and sees through the enemies plans on defense, I mean they were pretty much asking to lose. I'd argue Isagi is one the best if not the best at utilizing his meta vision. Lorenzo clearly does need some work tho considering Isagi and hiori were low-key flaming him but Isagi and hiori were crazy in sync in that match like they knew exactly what the other was thinking and they knew exactly what to do to help the other and Hiori had been watching the game from the outside seeing how everyone plays and Isagi recognized that he could see through the Ubers plays as well so Hiori knew exactly what he had to do once he got in the game. Lorenzo needs work but against a team with a single ace he would have been extremely effective. Isagi is close to if not as good as Kaiser so one top defender can't beat out 2 top strikers.

You forgot that don lorenzo has no jumping feats so they basically used his weakness against him,other than that don lorenzo could lock down any player if need be,he just needs to work on locking down 2 people at once.hopefully we see this in the u20 world cup

New Gen 11 was introduced as the next group of Antagonists or at least the next “level” our main egoists needed to reach. We still haven’t seen 7 other members. The next level would be the other countries U20 teams, the Pros and then the official World Cup teams in that order.

1.for itoshi sae's passes getting intercept thats literally because whole blue lock team is locking on his play with shidou 2.and the illusion for some people thinks isagi and kaiser are on same level thats literally because they are on same team, kaiser cant just treat isagi as the enemy player on opposite team, kaiser's "defeat" is a mentally but not technically, its like you are the Professional player and you think amateur players can't do shit on you but they sometimes breaks your control on specific points, just like those freestyler kicking ball through those pro players as examples ,and for teammate issues ,isagi's side players pretty much has more plays and which kaiser's side only got ness the only good player, grim and other german players literally didn't do shit in those games while isagi got hiori raichi kurona yukimiya even gagamaru passing ball to him

In the case of kaiser, I can understand how you might think he is being completely outclassed by isagi, but i have a different view on the situation: barcha game was basically all kaiser with isagi interfering stopping logical plays. manshine for a majority was kaiser until the star change system where noa sided with isagi (mental effect on kaiser). ubers was where it was actually competitive between the two however he was manmarked by the best defender (barou outplaying them for that double nutmeg isnt a negative feat for kaiser, since he isnt even a defender. The ONE moment kaiser wasnt manmarked by the best defender, he scores almost effortlessly). kaiser training to beat isagi is just something that happens, if you issue someone a challenge and lose, youre gonna make sure next time there is no way you will lose, especially against someone you are better than individually

The new gen 11 players fell to plot and plot only Kaiser was dog walked after a game by the mc which is quite the power jump Sae was put on a team of 2 good players and was forced to hold back Don lorenzo had to be down graded just to give isagi and hiori time to shine The concept was a great but fell apart later on

In the u-20 vs blue lock match sae got a little bit intrested and serious but wasn’t trying at his 100% potential or trying to win he was just assessing blue lock and about the interception only few could do that who had meta-vision or like rin who tried to play like itoshi sae and predict every move beautifully like how sae would do if rin or isagi aren’t there then the match would be over soon (people who kept up with sae :- isagi,rin and niko can’t remember anyone else though)

Clowning on Lorenzo was gold 😂 Might be wishful thinking for the sake of the manga, but I still think that sae was holding back to an extent or sth like that. Lorenzo just felt generally underwhelming. Unfortunately Kaiser falls to Isagi's plot armor, which is one of blue lock's biggest issues in my opinion. I think the author wanted to integrate the generation of miracles in his story, but gotta say it isn't working so far. In Kuroko they managed to make plot armor less obvious in the beginning because of team work and stuff. Mb blue lock would be better off without new gen 11 as a whole. Anyway, good content, except mb could have been more concise

Thumbnail was one of the greatest things I have ever seen but honestly I think that new gen 11 was decently written. As many already said Sae was playing with Aku and Shidou against the whole blue lock team, and Kaiser remains a threat even after being "surpassed" by Isagi, plus I don't think that there was a statement about he being one of the strongest new gen 11 players or something like that.

The only thing I don't like about new gen is the fact rin caught up to them way too easily. I do have a theory that new gen 11 and the program in general isn't about 11 gifted prodigies far better than most players. I think they're more 11 talented learners with setbacks in life and unrefined egos for the goal of surpassing geniuses with repeatable formulas to win. This could be why loki isn't considered new gen. In other covers sae had a clear collar compared to everyone.

Ngl most of the points within this video is kinda nil but imma just comment on one char since this was like 4 months ago lol. Sae itoshi is leagues better and will be leagues better compared to characters like isagi and rin. This already seems like a leap seeing as they're the main 2 rivals/protags of the story BUT lets see the facts. Sae's passes have only been intercepted by near fouls or just straight fouls. within an hour + some change the whole blue lock team had an hour to shut down a pass and only did it 3 times (one being a foul) only stole the ball from him once in the last second, this is actually embarrassing, chat we are NOT cooking sae with this one. also sae wasn't said to have metavision its isagi's theory (although not a stretch to say ik)

the disrespect on Sae and Kaiser in this video is ridiculous. bro ignored the fact Sae was involved in all 3 goals in a 4-3 loss , with all players not named shidou not capitalising on easy set-up situations. The whole point of the blue lock project was the fact Japan lacked a striker/attacking force , which was evident from Sae only having shidou as a reliable options. Also meta vision has been shown to be something you can easily use for the full game, so Sae quite literally was not going all out from the start. if he just decided to score himself instead of testing u-20 in the first half (his bet with aiku) , then its a different outcome. With Kaiser, i don't know how another new gen player being the one to lock him down is somehow a negative. its not a plot device, its just how football works. the defence prioritises the bigger threat , which in that game is kaiser. Infact the second lorenzo stops man marking him , he scores an insane goal despite being fouled by 2 players. While Isagi needs everything to go right for him , Kaiser shows he only needs a slight opportunity to get a goal. both of these characters live up to the hype, Kaiser showed Isagi what his end goal should be and has not failed even against the top level defenders , Sae showed us a level of midfielder that i think only Snuffy has matched in the series so far

I believe that most teams in the world cup will have 2 to 3 New Gen 11 players on their side otherwise they're getting folded by Japan. Every top tier Blue Locker is pretty much New Gen level. France is gonna have Loki and Charles, La Real will probably have a couple of new gen players plus they might give Sae a citizenship so Spain is going to be crazy, Germand and Italy have Kaiser and Lorezo and probably another one each, we havent even seen Brazil and Argentina U20s.

for sae ,he wasnt even interested on playing with japan u 20 but he did and give a lot of incredible passes,still japan u20 is stupid .on second half he legit make a comeback and create chemical reaction with shidou but still it was 11vs3 and they lost.for kaiser, isagi just showed that he can also score and created an isagi system and that was a down side for kaiser cause only ness was supporting him.but at the latest chapter kaiser is an good NG11 player by scoring a incredible goal and team up with isagi (even tho isagi was shown to be better than kaiser).for lorenzo ,he his a very solid defender infact he was the second best defender we seen after all after dada silva.but he just not good at arieal control like aiku or aryu but a very good manmarking person that he made kaiser dead in uber vs bastaRD munchen .

imo, shidou is the weakest out of the 4 in this current match. Kaiser had a team at first but his players slowly got replaced and now he isn’t even using them to preform. Kaiser with weapons is a threat, especially ones that don’t attempt to sabotage him

Imo the u20 team without Saes help would’ve scored nothing but maybe 1 goal by luck if we’re being real, Sae had an objectively worse team snd surprisingly worse keeper than a striker put in the same position (gagamaru). Aiku was the main person carrying on the game with Sae, if we put Sae Itoshi on the opposite team he would decimate the U20 team. I feel like he was forced into a losing game with the teammates he had tbh. Though just speculation 🤷🏽

I mean Sae's team was kinda shitty.... that was why Japan U20 began scoring once Shidou entered the game

The New Gen XI are players who show their talent on their own, who turn 0 into 1. However I thought the NEL was the perfect opportunity to cast doubt on that title, just like Sae being criticized at the end of the U20, in this case with Kaiser. Does a title really have that much relevance? Does a title like that really matter? What about those talents who aren't known like in Blue Lock? I wish Kansehiro would implement more real consequences, like at the beginning, eliminating people and facing the consequences of his own actions. After all, we are on a world stage.
