I'm not interested in AI teammates unless they actually work and bring something to the game. The AI in both breakpoint and Wildlands stand around too much while I get my shit rocked, then revive me WITHOUT first clearing the area to ensure I don't them get killed AGAIN... And then when I inevitably get killed again... They stand around doing nothing... Again,🤬🤬

I think the customization in GRPB was a step back from Wildlands personally, but I do agree. I play a LOT of FPS games, especially competitively... But I really enjoy the charm of a third person co-op/single player game to unwind. I think if they make this new title, it's gonna crash and burn, but I really hope I'm wrong.

Wildlands was a blast to play. It's unfortunate (for me) that they are kinda veering from the 3rd person view. Seeing customization and roleplaying is important for me in games. FPS games make you feel like you need to be moving fast and rushing to get things done.

Dream Ghost Recon: (All right here we go) 1. Set in a wildlands like settings with different and diverse areas with many types of enemies. 2. In depth customization that goes further than just helmets, gear, etc, diving into modifications such as ir strobes and individual armor, gear placement. 3. No super futuristic stuff, stick to basics. Farthest you could go might be an advanced security system or TOC team for the enemies. 4. Refined breakpoint mechanics with more takedowns and a better job of showing those unique takedowns often rather than having them only happen in certain events. 5. Idk at this point, in all, refine Breakpoint, diverse enemies and areas, stick to our modern era or around it, in depth customization, better enemy AI and some sort of TOC for them to help them hunt you down.

Personally i wouldn't like the game being in 1st person. Ghost recon is one of the very few 3rd person shooters and if it goes back to 1st person, itll just be another 1st person shooter to majority of people. Adding on, the customization of you and your squadmates was such a nice feature and i know people who bought the games so they can make accurate US, UK, Irish, etc. Soilders. It adds so much depth to the game and makes it different among the literal hundreds of shooter games.

Bro, I mean... that would blow the world!, Better AI mechanics on the NPC's, real stealth behavior when bearing leafs, mud, camouflagel, etc; A more realistic acoustic AI behavior related to step noises, shoots, distance between you and the enemy, etc. Maybe choosing who's gonna bear with the drone would even make things not only more realistic, but somehow better in terms of drone deployment position if you consider to switch the toy between your parterns according to your own personal strategy. Considering you don't need your drone to be heard, seen, and that sometimes you gotta get among the enemy maybe one of your parters could be hidden in a more specific place with a better overall sight of the battlefield to deploy the drone while you take cover during the exploration. This would be a game changer, or at least a gigantic "plus" to an amazing game. So why any new sh!t with 1st person mechanics!! They got me lost with this 1 if they end up releasing so. 2 Hell with 1st person sh*T again.

naw, 3rd person is what ghost recon is, yes it started off as first person but moved and is a third person tactical shooter, it should stay that way. Personally for me i like the open world more, it makes me feel more immersed, like i have to actually travel to my next destination to either stealth or blast my way into a compound to find whatever intel i need to steal, something i need to blow up, or targets to kill, capture, or save. I would like to see the next ghost recon take what we all liked from both breakpoint and wildlands and add things to it, like the classes, i liked the tools they give you like the scanner from sharpshooter class and the drone from pathfinder, but ide put them as limited resource tools like how they are, but not assign them to classes that give you arcade like buffs for certain weapons, and get rid of the buffs thing entirely, and make the range better, cuz breakpoint sniping sucks

Despite some people saying "no future stuff", I would like to have near-future, Ghost Recon-style tech. Their take on gun-cam, sensors. Usable, meaningful Cross-Com. Something like Advanced Warfighter, some Future Soldier. Mix that with better squad command and control, it would help it feel more like old-school Ghost Recon. Not just "SOCOM" or "DELTA FORCE" with a different name.

In wildlands, playing ghost mode with your friends is highly addictive! Me and my buddy don't throw patches on till rank 15, once you get a medic drone you've earned it. They need to keep the civilians and feel of wildlands with the mechanics of shooting and moving from breakpoint, also keep 3rd person option. If the devs can pull that off the game will be an all time best seller!

A HUGE part of wildlands was the ability to be able to customise your player and accessories and see those customisations in the game. I for one threw heaps of cash at my character. I spent just as much time in the lobby as I did in the game. I think it was this ability that helped make wildlands so successful

The thing that bothered me the most on breakpoint was the lack of maneuverability and emergent gameplay. The idea of making ready or not but as ghost recon is really cool and giving proper mechanics like climbing, using ropes to climb buildings and having those rainbow six running down the outside wall with you upside down while shooting an enemy is the direction I wanted to see to the game. What doesn’t make sense is going first person. The reason why i like ghost recon is that we dont have this types of genre as third person anymore but you what we have very well stablished ? First person shooters that already have systems and flavor all figured out. A MASSIVE point of breakpoint was customization, creating your own characters and stories and be immersed in this world like an action adventure +stealth. Making it 1st person only would pretty much turn it into farcry army edition.

Ubisoft is slowly gaining identity back in their games, we’ve gotten to a stage where all of them were rpgs and had the farcry/ac formula just slightly different gameplay. GR is milsim, keep it that way, division is the grounded looter shooter (div 3 better not disappoint) and ac… seems like it’ll never recover.
