I wish writers would read the history of these characters before they write a story. Johnny Blaze wasn’t bound to the Spirit of Vengeance. He was bound to Zarathos,a demon Mephisto had a problem with. Danny Ketch was the Spirit of Vengeance. Ketch had the Penance stare,Blaze literally burned you with hellfire,which felt cold physically,but burned your very soul. Ketch was a superhero,while Blaze was horror.He has a relationship with Zarathos like Bruce Banner has with Hulk.Each one wanted the other,gone.

His origin and history has been retconned so many times (Wasn’t it the REAL Satan at first ? Does Marvel have the real Satan anymore?) that it’s hard to even tell anymore. If we go by the Jason Aaron version, he is/was an agent God, Ala The Spectre.

That and Zarathos was Ever Bit just as Evil as Mephisto too. That and isn't the Hood already kind of possessed by a Demon too? Or at least the Hood is a demonn? But yeah. What a new Ghost Rider Series needs is a little Mystery to it.

There’s a series called the Dresden Files, it’s a book series but they also made them into graphic novels, it takes place in Chicago where Harry Dresden is a wizard who is also a private investigator and a consultant to the Chicago PD for murders that have supernatural causes. There’s about 20 books in the series. You could think of it as a noir P.I. story thrown into a world where all the creatures of myths and fables exist, hiding amongst normal people in modern day This excerpt is a good description of the series: This series follows Harry Dresden, the only Wizard in the phone book. He is a P.I. and consults with the police on crimes that look a little… supernatural. As the books go along, the urban fantasy world of The Dresden Files grows with compexity and depth, with monsters, allies and events that will blow your mind.

Ikr I like that it’s something new personally. Chicago or not, the cape is sick, looks like spawn and the vampire gang is a new take for ghost rider that might be pretty fire.

The hood and cape Parker Robins wears as The Hood was stripped of Dormameau’s influence when Dr.Voodoo became Sorcerer Supreme in 2009, so it is now just fabric

I'm not a Ghost Rider fan, never really followed the lore; but I have to say having The Hood become Ghost Rider makes sense to me. The Hood already had some connection to a demon and its powers via his cloak, and anyone familiar with Parker Robbins' personality will know that no matter how much he has, it's never enough. I actually hope Parker keeps the Ghost Rider mantle for longer than he has The Hood. Much more interesting than Johnny Blaze or Danny Ketch, to me.

This looks good , but I’m getting a little bit tired of them CONSTANTLY changing hosts for Ghost Rider ! Didn’t we just get Robbie Reyes a few years ago? It seems that writers just can’t get or don’t know what to do with GR anymore . Or that no series will be successful for long.
