I think it's one of the best balanced weapons since Battlefield 3. Some people complain about the spread of this weapon, but the trick with this gun is you need to rush with it. It's a close range beast and it totally rewards a fair playstyle. It may be a little overpowered in the hands of a pro, but I think as an overall weapon, it's very fairly balanced and encourages players not to camp. If you can master your movement and the ability to rush (which is a hard task), then this is the perfect wapon in my opinion..

What's crazy about the MTAR is that even with the Type 4 heavy suppressor equipped (the best suppressor for this gun stats wise), the bullets to kill and full auto time to kill is the same up to 100m. Past 100m it goes from 401ms to 467ms (7 -> 8 bullets to kill) but still impressive overall performance.

You sure it’s the Type 4 and not the PBS?

@@sternwardboss 100% sure. I tried to paste links to images referencing Zylo's and Sorrow's spreadsheets, but the comment gets auto-deleted. But just do a quick look up on them and you'll see. From patch 6.2 the PB damage modifier got buffed from 0.85 to 0.9x. And the Type 4 went from 0.9x to 0.95x. So has a slight damage advantage

I have just moved from the MTAR as my main to the VHX. i haven't played 2042 in a while, so the VHX is new to me, and im finding it easier to use and more enjoyable than the MTAR. i think it's the damage increase

SFAR, AC42 ,BSVM and M39 DMR are my other favorite choices

I honestly think if battlefield came out with a game kust like this, but with either the movement from cod advanced warfare, or cod black ops 3, it would be badass. Titanfall has great movement but just nowhere near enough guns and attachments in my opinion.
