yo guys, the maximum purple he did wasn't the 200% purple from the manga, it was the unlimited hollow purple that gojo used against sukuna as his last attack. thats why it also damages you. gojo states that since it doesn't have a specific target he gwts injured too. also its more powerful than the 200% purple but simce it isn't focused it didn't do enough damage to kill sukuna.
