All other hack motion videos I have found are people that have already put in the work and have good flection. Thank you for showing the start of you getting into hack motion so I can follow along with my own hack motion

Loved the video Al, I have a hackmotion which I love/hate, I couldn’t help laughing as I watched your video, as I know exactly how you felt. I feel that I have the dynamic release drill fairly well sorted. I would love to see you try the “static release “ drill though 😁 - it’s driving me crazy !
@SFretnchillinАй бұрын
Brother, you have no idea how much I feel your pain. I went through the exact same experience. Was much easier for me to get in position on a full swing vs the part you were working. I think if you get that part down, rest of it is cake.
@alexetchesgolfАй бұрын
The best part is it’s so relative. Even though it’s the same drill it’s so different! Different swings etc

I ordered mine a week ago, it says about 10 days before dispatch. But I am so excited awaiting it's arrival. After watching the videos on the Hackmotion, I am already concentrating on flexion, and am already seeing small improvements in ball strike. Looking forward to the transition from a 9 hcp scrambler to a 9 Hcp Hackmotion Hacker 😃 I look forward to watching the rest of your journey.

Hey Alex , are you using the core or pro version? Is the core version good enough to get started?

Have the Pro, but everything that we did is included in the Core package too! 👍

"How was your ball flight?" Left a burning trail on the ground :D
@alexetchesgolf4 ай бұрын
Not looking at ball flight for such a big chance in Level 1. Level 2 and 3 is more ball flight based. Got to walk with this app, it’s no sprint 👍

I am glad I watched this, I was ready to start tearing my hair out in frustration, I thought the device was faulty but it looks like its me thats faulty.

Love my HackMotion - veeeeery cool and super useful. If you want to know why your ball does what it does wrt your swing - this will tell you. I found it really easy with irons but i had more trouble (note I said "I" - had trouble" not the device) with getting my wrists right with driver. That took more work and while my wrists aren't perfect all the way through with driver (top of swing and impact) - I've got my wrists to be more in position much more predictably at impact with driver - which - let's face it - is the key. Investing in HM is a good investment IMHO. (not a sponsored comment btw.....)

Love this content. Other channels the Pro is telling me how they are so good and I'm so bad. You are breaking that mold by not breaking Brenda's windows.
@MrPaulbartholomew4 ай бұрын
Me and Alex! 😂 can you put the sensor on the trail hand to measure extension in that wrist? Or does it only work on the lead hand? 🤔🤷🏻♂️🏌️♂️
@alexetchesgolf4 ай бұрын
You can 👍 that’s an inclusion in the other packages available
@douglasgardner40044 ай бұрын
I've got the prior version. Not fully committed to it yet. Chasing wrist angles has been problematic for me. Following suggestions to get more weight on lead foot introduced a reverse pivot to my swing. Needless to say, things got pretty bad. Seeing my local pro for lessons got me back on track. Wrist angle at impact is an outcome of set up and other things way before impact. Trying to manipulate my wrists to get in range with the larger flaws I had was a disaster. I'll try again once my swing changes settle in.
@alexetchesgolf4 ай бұрын
Sounds like a very basic early release if that’s what it was giving you. This diagnoses every aspect and even the transition. There’s no set reason for impact position - can be many things. I got a swing diagnosis with greens all round except for impact. I assume you wouldn’t have greens in the other areas 👍
@isthereanavailable4 ай бұрын
I got the core version recently, and I'm seeing improvement over recent struggles with controlling my irons. Once you know how to get green, it is repeatable in the later lessons. Worth the investment.

I hit 200 shots before I saw green in the first drill. I thought for sure it was broke couldn’t be mean lol but eventually broke through and went to the next two drills quickly

I was doing this the other day and the bloody thing wouldn’t recognize p6 for me almost at all. So even if I got green with the strike it would still fail, very frustrating

I had quite a fair bit of shaft lean to start with which was noticed quickly. I need flexion on top of my starting setup
@danielcharles40854 ай бұрын
Took me 3 tries to pass that one. I was +1 to +3. So frustrating.
@alexetchesgolf4 ай бұрын
Yeah it’s even to a point where a complete amateur could do it first time if they haven’t had previous swing experience. The reason I like this is it takes everyone’s position and puts you into “your good position” which is different to everyone else

@alexetchesgolf4 ай бұрын
I can do that without flexion like many can. It’s the technique I need to get right from the position I’ve been in for 20 years
@KevFlamingo4 ай бұрын
Hackmotion can be hugely frustrating. I thought my impact position was awful until I used it for the first time. Turns out impact is OK but my set up isn't. If I change set up, impact is awful. Clearly have to go with impact but there's a nagging voice telling me I'm not doing it 'properly'. It's the same nagging voice that keeps telling me I shouldn't chip cross handed despite over a decade of devastating evidence proving that 'properly' isn't good for me!
@alexetchesgolf4 ай бұрын
Yeah it certainly takes some time. Especially after 20 years of being stuck in that position. haha!

@saberman14 ай бұрын
First let me say that I absolutely love your channel. Great content and I always get a laugh. I think you have a great sense of humor. For almost $1000 for the pro model, I think that is a lot. I'm going to put this back on you. After you spend your time and effort training with this training aid YOU give an honest opinion if it helps improve your swing and lowers your scores. Then say is it worth the money. If you say it is worth the money, I will believe you and stand corrected. I trust your opinion 100% or I wouldn't be watching you.
