how would you say this compares to the Mesa/Boogie California Tweed 6V6 2:20 1x12 Tube Amp Combo ? Remember the mesa is $2,000 approx.

Seeing the guitars up close and the hearing the amps would have been good. I can't but think they will have a hard time taking territory from Magnatone.

I get that they want to keep the whole "Made in America" Vibe but.... I get the feeling that these are guitars that would fair better from the same business model as Danelectro.

I think the Amps are made in China. Could be wrong though.

Harmony wasn't exactly known for their amps, guitars? Yes. Good luck with the amps, that market is saturated.

"Everyone should get their hands on one. They really feel like a harmony guitar. Play it through a harmony speaker and youll be really happy". Awsome, they replicated some of the worst designed guitars and amps, made in the u.s.a. . I wonder if anyone reminded them that fe Harmony business concept was to design build and sell guitars, amp, etc... at low prices !!! Who reading this beleives that this product will be priced accordingly. Surely they will put the price point right up there with supro, magnatone, etc.... Why do these companies do this shit ? If they want to bring back some of the things people liked, they should do just that. Then call it something else.

@@DMSProduktions .....for example, I'm going to talk about amplifiers. They could build the cabinets using the same materials and methods as harmony did back in the day. Using press board. Then nailing and gluing the corners. That compared too a cabinet made of hardwood that is dovetailed, glued and clamped. There is surely a large cost difference between those 2 build methods. Most importantly the Harmony brand didnt use dovetailed joints and hardwoods primarily. They used the cheapest method of construction possible. Primarily. That is what made the Harmony brand what it was. They kept the cost down on every aspect of the products they made. Basically they were the equivalent to Chinese import products now. I understand it still would cost more these days to build that way. But, if you want to call it a Harmony then build it like a Harmony. And if you want to take an old design and improve on it thats great too. Just dont call it what its not. I think that is the point im trying too make. A good debate os always good. Have a good one and take it easy !
