Just play div 2 again, you really don't have to upgrade your stadium immediately. As for me, I stayed in the academy division for like 15 times before I upgraded my stadium to enter the next division, I was more focused on buying new players and upgrading them before getting promoted so I don't really think it's a big deal. Besides you have easier matches in the lower divisions anyway
