Thanks for letting me know. I have a similar issue with a few channels if I’m not using headphones especially on my mobile devices. I’ll make some adjustments to the videos going forward and hopefully that will help.

This is great, Shivaun! I am loving my bujo in my Nanami Cafe Note, but I’m thinking I might use one of these next year because I don’t know that I need all the pages (unless I want to keep the same bujo multiple years, and we all know that can be torturous). I might shift my daily journal to the Nanami. We’ll see, but this comparison was very helpful, thanks!

JetPens and Amazon sell Stalogy notebooks. Also, it's ah-VEC, not A-vic. :) Avec means "with" in French.

Thank you - I'm aware that JetPens and Amazon (US) sell Stalogy notebooks. I've bought them many times from both retailers. They do not, however, sell the Stalogy A6 1/2 year version. It is currently a Japanese exclusive. .

Just FYI, at the distance you have the notebook from the camera the grid lines don't show up. The pages look plain white.

I appreciate your feedback. I apologize that you couldn’t see the grid well enough. The grid on these notebooks are extremely faint and the combination of the faintness and the colors they used on the grids makes it more difficult to capture on film. But this video is also almost 3 years old and was filmed when I first started my channel with very basic equipment and setup. My filming setup, equipment and style have all improved significantly since then and my videos more effectively show features in products now.

Shivaun, thanks so much for the video on the Hobinichi notebooks! As you know from my Facebook posts, i have been on the hunt for the Avec (I did find one). Does Hobinichi do an official release date for their planners for the upcoming year? If so, what is the best way not to miss a release? Should I sign up through Hobinichi or through Jet Pens? Thanks!

So they release their planners for the new year on 09/1 Japan time (so the evening of 08/31 in the US). You can sign-up for newsletters from Hobonichi but also there's several FB groups on Hobonichi that you can join and they definitely keep you updated. The planners themselves don't sell out - they are sold all year-round on their site. JetPens gets them a little bit after they launch on the Hobo site. JetPens will sell out but usually takes a bit. They will update on their newsletter too to let us know that they are coming soon. Are you doing the A6 Avec or the A5 (Cousin) Avec?

I'm sorry you are having trouble hearing. I've had half a dozen people test on various computers, tablets and phones and they haven't had any issues so I'm not sure what's causing some subscribers to have issues with the sound but I'll be making some adjustments to future videos to try to help going forward. In the meantime if you could let me know what type of device you are using so I can try to identify the issue that would be great. Also make sure that on the volume bar of the video itself (bottom left corner) that the volume bar is turned up in addition to the device volume. I know that sometimes the default volume on YT gets adjusted and that can cause issues as well. Thanks again for letting me know and hopefully we can get this resolved so you can enjoy the videos to come!!
