The basic 1.0l is fine! Had mine 10 years - is' safe stable and goes like a bomb on the motorway.[on the flat] Never got bored of owning this car so I wont be changing it!

Thought I'd give my two cents: My mom owns hers for around a year now and loves it! She has the 67HP version which is sufficient for basic point a to b driving along with longer drives from time to time. She's doesn't speed so her fuel consumption is at around 5.1L to 5.3L usually. I'd say the 67HP feel a bit week at times. Additionally, i find that keeping it in a straight line at higher speed feels a bit wobbly but I'm a beginner and used to cars with many support systems so take that with a grain of salt. But yeah, the turning is really great! Corners feel great. My dad got it for 12k€ used

Buyers of NEW cars be very careful - The software installed in the latest version of Hyundai i10 to implement Intelligent Speed Limit Assist is unable to recognise the UK national speed limit sign. This means drivers of the new i10 get repeated audible speed limit warnings (very annoying and distracting) when they drive on a road where the national speed limit applies (Motorway, dual carriageway or single carriageway) as the car does not recognise the national speed limit sign and will assume the previous speed limit sign still applies (e.g. 30 / 40 or 50 mph). My Hyundai dealership has requested a software update from Hyundai but they do not know when this will be received (nor did the dealership warn me about the problem before I bought my new car). Carparks with speed limits (5 or 10mph) are also a BIG problem as there is normally no sign when you exit the carpark so the car still thinks the 5/ 10mph speed limit applies on the road. You then get an audible speed limit warning every time the car exceeds 5/10mph until the camera sees a new speed limit sign. This can be several miles later if the carpark is located within a 30mph zone. If there are multiple sets of traffic lights / roundabouts before the new speed limit sign the driver will get repeated warnings every time the car exceeds 5/ 10mph even though the correct speed limit is 30mph. I have to drive 2.5 miles with over 20 audible speed limit warnings before the car's camera sees another speed sign and reverts to the correct speed limit. This is extremely distracting and spoils what would otherwise be a great little car. Speed Limit Assist can be disabled, but requires scrolling through multiple menu options which should not be attempted while driving and turns back on every time the engine is started. Until this is resolved by Hyundai I would buy an older model - not a 2023/24 model.

I love the badging of the European version versus Indian version. They say, 'Grand i10', 'Nios', '' and the the 'Turbo'(N-line), it's so packed and spoils the rear look.

I've had my N-Line since October - absolutely love it. As David said in the video 100ps might not seem like a lot, but when the car is that light it's no slouch on the little B roads on my commute to work.

Surprised how much weight and feel is in the steering for a city car. Gear shift is nice and mechanical feeling as well. It drives like its on rails. Love it. ❤

Is the "automatic" you drove an AVT or have they now got a proper automatic? As far as I'm aware, the AVT requires you to change gear (as if it's a semi-automatic). On your review, it doesn't seem like you are changing gear. Could you clarify this for me?

I am unsure as to what an AVT gearbox is but i never had to change gear.

@@EdenMotorGroup I don’t mean to be disrespectful but I think that’s something you should know if you’re reviewing a car that’s equipped with it. Or at least know if it’s an automatic or AVT.

Sorry I should make myself clearer. In the UK (unsure of where you are from) we have generally only 3 types of Autos. CVT DCT and TC. There are sub categories in these too. For example the new CX-60 has what Mazda call an MCT (Multi Clutch Transmission) as it has more than 2. There are more though for example an AMT or SDT. We tend to use the term AMT which stands for Automated Manual Transmission I would assume that is the same for an AVT? AVT stands for automatic/automated vehicle transmission at a guess? I have not heard the term AVT term before however the I10 uses an AMT which does not require you to change gear Manually you only have 2 pedals and you just pop it into drive and away you go. We tend to use torque converters or TC's for towing cars and some regular c segment cars. DCT for sports, luxury and large none towing cars and CVT or AMT being the inexpensive option for small cars (and some hybrids). Please don't mistake my lack of understanding as ignorance I promise that is not the case. I hope this helps. Anything else please let me know. David

@@EdenMotorGroup David, I apologise, the transmission on the i10 is AMT, not AVT. I did more research on it. As you say, it’s not a full automatic but it seems to be the “automatic” of choice for very small cars. I think the one you tested was that and you didn’t mention any problems so it worked well during the test. I’ve put a deposit on the automatic facelift i10 but in Ireland it’s only available in 1.0 litre not 1.2 unfortunately. Thanks again for your reply & apologies for my confusion on AVT/AMT.

This European version has detachable head rests. Our Indian versions have the cost saving one piece backrest with integrated head rest. 🙄

In Tunisia we get the Indian version ( Grand i10 ) but with detachable head rests, but not with screen in the middle of the gauges, the instrument cluster has a weired shape .
